one's Conciousness-materialistic world world

I have one very good friend. His foremost interest in life is to build very big house with all eminent facilities in it.When ever I meet him he only talks about his #dream house. In India  most people spend their precious money and time  in building #big houses for them.

I am happy my friend has built beautiful house. In total exercise it took him 10 years to do so. Perfect but there is one fact which I must tell you friends before building a dream house he earned and saved money for twenty years. He is so much into this #project that he is always busy counting #adding and multiplying money transactions.

But my humble submission is that one’s life is small and full of #uncertainties. If one spends major part of one’s life in collecting #costly things, then not much life will be left with one to work on one’s #consciousness. All rooms of one’s consciousness that is body, soul, mind and intellect may not develop to same extent as ones external home.

Psychology research guides that people are interested in building a big house is that they strongly believe in #show off business. They are always on radar of# competitive world of materialistic things. They continuously get signals from that radar and work accordingly. Spending ones whole energy and time in #show business is profitable is big question to humanity.

Scientist Dream-Count Down

I left main gate of my #alma mater research lab with a heavy heart,

I count back from ten as I walk to my #IIT-Kanpur main gate,

I thought about my #research lab,

How this holy #temple of research lab,

 Helped me in lovely journey,

Of my #passion for knowledge- science.

How lab blessed me on my head at Nine,

At Eight I smiled at me,

Lucky to be associated with such a #prestigious lab,

At one point in my life.

At seven magical hands mine,

Shook with an important,

Science #chemical physics algorithms used in lab,

Six times I presented research results,

At #conferences international prestigious.

I refuse to go back home,

And always wished to be in research lab at Five,

At four I told my self how much I "adore my research lab ",

At three I said magical words"I love you",

To my research science lab.

At two I recollected pleasant experiences,

I got in my research science lab,

I looked at all the photographs,

Collection I took in research lab.

At once I closed, my house gate happily,

I went to my bed and closed my eyes,

Slept with important #research findings,

Close to my heart.,I carried in my research Science lab.

Do You Carry Cotton Bag?

When I was teaching in school. In my co curricular activity class  I was asked by organizer Mr  Nandi to talk to students for saving environment.I have always been of opinion if some how we all make sincere efforts to avoid plastic bags in our day to day life we can save our environment to great extent. To make my point clear to students I wrote small poem about benefit of using cotton bag.Same I posted on notice board of my school for benefit of my students. The same I am listing below for my esteem reader who visit my blog.

 The Cotton Bag

I carry #cotton bag in my pocket,
Does it do some magic to you?
Is it a lucky charm for you?,
Does it represent  Mahatma Gandhi,
 Philosophy followed  by you?
People question me very often,
It is simply an understanding between,
Me and my  environment  that I will never,
Use plastic bags in activities I do.

I carry cotton bag   in my pocket,
As it is an icon of  environment saviour for me,
It teaches me three R’s of sustaining the environment beautiful,
Which is being destroyed by use of plastic bags overwhelmingly,
1.Reduce- use of plastic bag  in life,
2.Reuse- cotton bag when ever you please,
3.Recycle- eco friendly material of cotton bag in life,
And save mother nature, please!

Moral-Once one form emotional bond between one self and environment, one can never use plastic bagin day to day work. One unknowingly always carry cotton bag in ones pocket.

Not fighting is best policy

Other day I was going back home after teaching in my school.I had a pleasant surprise.I met my school friend Sarla at metro station.Sarla is high court judge.

I asked Sarla how was journey of your life?.What disciplines and value system you practiced in your life to become such an icon figure of our society. We had big discussion. She talked in details about little steps she took in her life to focus on her career path.

Taking inspiration from my dear friend Sarla,I wrote A small article for my students and pasted on notice board of my school for benefit of my worthy students.

Is it worthy to Fight?

My friend Sarla happened to get married in joint family who were against her wishes, for further higher studies.

Sarla continued her studies and stopped fighting for her rights with  many inconsiderate people..

She stopped fighting to please everyone...in family and persons at her professional front.

She stopped fighting who gossiped about her,

She did not fight 1.to get attention from surrounding crowd 2.to prove they(in laws family) were wrong about her....

She left such fights for those who have nothing else to fight...

And She started fighting for

her vision,

her dreams,

her ideas and

her destiny.

The day she gave up on small fights is the day she started becoming successful & so much more content.

My friend Sarla is now judge in high court.

Moral of Story. All fights are not worth ones time..... Choose what one can fight for wisely.

This wise practice followed by my friend Sarla can save ones time and energy, the saved time and energy can be fruitfully used in

improving ones new ideas and vision in moving forward in ones carrier path.
