Catalyst for Child Development
Be Meticulous
I am a science teacher in a government school. The other day, I was talking to students who had recently attended a summer camp organized by the school in the heart of the city.
I asked students to tell me about salient experiences about summer camp with help from which they learnt something new in life.
One student said," The Oath ceremony was a good experience for me. I was impressed by the right format and the right words of oath. Before that, I did not have the slightest idea how lawfully worded is the language of oath."
Another student said, "Each #step of each day's activity of summer camp was thoroughly organized. We had to submit a report of each day's activity and the steps taken to organize the activity in writing to the organizer of the summer camp. Writing a report was a new experience for me. Here I realized while writing a report, #language/words used should be #appropriate and #thoughtful."
Another student said, "Throughout summer camp, much emphasis was given to writing. I learnt a lot that writing skill is a very #important skill to be learnt in life. I realized while penning down words, one should be extra #careful."
Moral- while choosing words for writing any experience of life, one should be extra careful because good words used in expression can make one's #heart happy. Words, if not taken care of while writing, can sometimes #slit one's #heart.

Always About You
I teach science in a government school. I am in charge of the co-curricular activities of the school.
One of my old students said, "I am #happy! Madam, because I am in a #good teaching job ".
Another student said, "I am happy! Madam, I could get admission into a good #professional course".
Another student said, "I am happy! Madam, I could get married to a family that # respects me a lot."
I said, "Dear students, happiness does not mean being in a good degree course/job/good #family structure. As soon as circumstances change, your happiness will #evaporate. Happiness is not because of #materialistic things."
I further said, "True happiness is #listening to your #heart and being kinder to yourself. Happiness is learning to live with #yourself. As the name suggests, this special format of happiness( #inner happiness) can not depend on others. What you say and what you do should be in #harmony with each other, then only you can feel happiness."
I further said"Friends, it's your happiness. It is always about you. You know what makes you happy, therefore best to discover yourself and walk in the direction that makes you happy. Please forget what others are talking about you. For your happiness, please do all actions that make you #resonate with yourself".
MORAL-You don't find your happiness in materialistic things. Your happiness is within you. Please do search it inside you.

World of Digital Technology
Today is world of digital technology.
Now a days keeping children away from #mobile and TV is big #task. The other day my grand daughter came to me #crying.I asked ‘What happened, dear Babu? She said, crying, “Nani, you do not allow me to spend time on mobile. You are not happy if I spend more time watching TV..I called my friend Radha for a cycle ride. She refuse to come”.‘Why?
Babu said, "‘Radha doesn't like #cycling. She wants to go for #swimming.’
I said"Then, it's okay, you do cycling and let Radha do swimming., What's the issue? Babu said, "No, Nani, how can Radha say my activity is #boring? Mine is a very good game. Her's swimming activity is #dangerous game.
I said, "Babu, swimming is also very good. Only thing, please make try. You will learn that also."
It took almost one hour for me to explain to my grand daughter that everyone has his/her own #choice and one can not impose one's choice on another. I remembered my childhood. If anyone said, I don't like to play with you. I will quietly tell one, ok, you play your game. I play mine. Here I go.
I never used to get annoyed. Immediately, I used to set a different place to continue my play. I used to put sincere effort to make my game interesting. So, she/he will come back to me asking can she/he can play with me again? I never cried like my granddaughter. Sometimes I will be #accommodating, ok for one hour we do cycling and another hour swimming.
Thanks to my mother and grand mother. They taught me never to expect someone to keep you #happy always. Your happiness should not depend on #others.I am slowly teaching my grandchildren. How to be accommodating, self-dependent, forgiving, accepting refusal, facing #disappointments, creating our own #happiness.
MORAL-Try to accommodate others' requests in social playful activities, while creating your #own happiness.

Dots of Thoughts
While teaching students theory or experiment in the #science subject some sometimes I would #slow down my speed of teaching to help students who need more help in subject matter concepts. One of my students asked, "Madam, why sometimes do you slow down your teaching speed slow down?".
I said," I agree it is a fast world of computers, #Information technology. But when one is studying and trying to #understand subject material or preparing for a presentation of a #seminar to explain to respected audiences, it is best to #slow down a bit, as this unique activity makes one # stress-free for a while. It gives one #mental space to #connect - interpolate -#extrapolate the dots of thought and insight in #complex concepts of subject. It gives one the best #opportunity and confidence to move forward with the best #intentions."

Handling Chaos in Life
I Teach science in a government school. I am in charge of the co-curricular activities of the school.
The other day, my student Rakhi said, "Madam, how can we handle chaos in our lives in this digital world. "
Radha said, " Madam, we can handle chaos in life by using digital tools like AI."
Sita said, " Madam, digital tools have negative impacts also. Therefore, we must set boundaries to handle the same."
I said, " Dear students, tools like AI can help us manage data chaos. For personal life, you need to balance digital tasks with offline activities like in-person communication with friends, teachers and mentors. These activities give you mindfulness and "digital detoxes," which prevent burnout and anxiety that you face in day-to-day life."
My friend Karuna said, "Our young friends are very efficient in handling things in #digital world. Subject learnt with the help of #tutors sometimes makes their learning easier."
I further said, "But friends' lives are different from #digital learning. Life gives everyone in bits and pieces at different times and intervals in different circumstances. Life's challenge is to collect all the given precious gifts of life and make a beautiful picture of life through the given pieces with your experience and #wisdom. Life, which gives one #satisfaction and peace, is full of joy."
Moral ÷ All experiences, good and bad, of life are perfect #teacher. They are not linear in nature.

I
Intermediate Habit
Life goes with a #chemical chain reaction taking place in the #environment and #body.
But each chain reaction needs #initiation conditions like input of the required amount of #energy. To let these chain chemical reactions go, it needs #favorable conditions like the formation of #intermediates from previous chain reactions for #propagation of the reaction.
In the chain propagation step, #intermediate is consumed and formed from the previous reaction.
So # a repetitive cycle of chain chemical reaction goes on.
#Chain chemical reactions are very powerful and benefit the environment and body of humans.
In terms of psychology, motivation- a combination of motive and action is fundamental to the success of an individual. It is a driving force behind human #action, what one needs to start particular required activity in life.
Motivational activity is goal oriented-willingness to do something. #Motivation forms an intermediate called a habit, which keeps one going with the same activity in life.
With the passage of time in life, habits become very #powerful as # neurons in brain create a craving for the same activity
So repetitive cycle of #habit goes on with time.
Fixed pattern of behavior -habit is rewarded by the release of #pleasure chemicals in the brain.
That gives #powerful benefit to #body and mind.
MORAL-Good habits make one more #consistent in life.
