Family oxygen

When I was a little girl, I used to observe everything very keenly.

I saw how my dear mother worked tirelessly the whole day for her children, husband, in-laws and extended family. But the family was thankless. They never appreciated under how much stress my dear mother was. They only looked to see if she had completed her assigned work.

I said "Mom, you are the oxygen of this entire family. Every member is always taking the best oxygen from you, but when it is time to do something positive for you, everyone becomes inactive. That's why, Mom, the family atmosphere gets polluted."

Moral -Mom gives oxygen  to family by doing needful for every member  of family.  Kindly keep air in atmosphere of family and outside world fresh by your sincere  efforts  and make family and planet atmosphere  pollution free.

Be Courageous Take out Your Mask

I am a science teacher in government school. Science #exhibition of all distict shool was to be held in our school in year 2026.

Since lot of arrangements were to be done for district science exhibition , our principal madam made #comitee of ten students and ten teachers to look into arrangement of same a big event of school.

Twenty members of team used to report to our school principal madam on each sunday and other holdays for 2 hours. This arrangement was done by school so that valuable time of students and teachers could be saved for #academic activities on working days.

Mr Anup singh was senior teacher of our school. My friend Radha(mathematics teacher) was new #entry of school.Mr Anup singh was a gentelman and dedicated teacher of school. But some how he was stuck with his personal problems  His son Rakesh was not able to cope up with mathematics subject in his school.

Somehow Mr Anoop Singh thought that , Radha maths teacher will be able to help his son Rakesh in Mathematics assignment when Radha comes to school for helping in assignment of science exhibition arrangements.

Radha being new to school was not ale to say no for such an arrangement. Our principal madam did not like Radha teaching maths to Rakesh during that time period. Madam was expressing her #displeasure in grey shade to Radha about the present issue.

Radha expressed her difficult position to me in which she is not able to say no to Mr Anup.

I said” Radha you have your values in life. You can’t be present for science exhibition preparation and teaching Mathematics to Rakesh at the same time, as you are not dual in nature. It is up to you to decide and please take decision accordingly. Please take out your mask of remaining quite about this important issue.”

Radha thought for a while and took courageous step of saying no to Mr Anoop singh. She said ” Anoop sir, off and on if some difficulties of mathematics problems are to be solved, I can help Rakesh. But this type of arrangement which you are suggesting is making me go against my teaching ethics.

Mr Anoop ji got message from Radha and from that day on wards he did not bring Rakesh to shool for mathematics assignment.

Moral – Best is never to go against your #values. If need arises please be bold and spell your point of view with courage.

Resilient Mother.

Son- Mom! How can I get #success in any area of life? Mom- son! # Resilience is the answer. Son- Mom! What do you mean by resilience? Son further said: when I was learning new skills like computer programming my teacher used to teach that students be consistent in learning computer #language for writing programs which computer can understand.
Mother’- yes Son! Consistent effort always pays. Son- Mom! In Physics class I have read to jump obstacles while running it is essential to build #momentum while running. It is a good way to tackle the same.
Mom -right my son! To be on a journey to success you should build momentum and consistency in your efforts. Son- Some people believe that in the journey to success #luck also plays a major role.
Mom -not necessary. Son- yes mom! #dedication and persistence in life come from consistent work. Mom, you are a living example of consistency and resilience Mom – Yes my son! If someday my cooking product is not up to mark. I don’t get #agitated, the next day I put more consistent efforts to make my cooking better.
Son – Mom, and I do realize your consistent efforts are #unending. You always cook with the same consistency every day. Mother – Dear son! Some days I don’t have cooking assignments, to retain my consistent habit, that day I take this golden opportunity and make some sweets for my family with the same consistency but never leave the habit of being consistent.
Mother further said "Dear son there are situations in my life when I am not well, down with fever but I never leave this consistent habit of making simple food for family. With my resilience, I overcame this difficult time and again started cooking with the same efficiency.

Son: Dear Mom I do understand some days you maintain a steady, reliable pattern, in your cooking assignment. But I have also observed how you bounce back with good cooking after being unwell for quite some time. Then I see so much resilience in you. Your capacity to come back from setbacks and adapt to challenges is amazing. In my heart, I appreciate my resilient mother. Then you become my biggest inspiration in my life.
Mother: Motherhood often requires immense resilience, as mothers navigate numerous challenges and responsibilities while maintaining emotional well-being. Resilience in me involves adapting to changes on my way to motherhood. I overcome obstacles and always maintain a positive outlook. I maintain a work-life balance by being resilient. I thank God for granting me this virtue.

Son: Mom you are my resilient mother. You are always engaged in positive parenting practices. You have provided us ( children) with a sense of security and support during difficult times Moral -Consistency is a key element in the journey to success. Small actions get converted to big actions through the habit of consistency. Resilience is more important than consistency. So to make your journey achieve your aimed goals to success wonderful, the best is to practice resilience.

Do not complicate life

I am a science  teacher in government  school. My student Cooku is primary school teacher in private school. She is married to gentelman who is also a primary school teacher in private school. They are leading a wonderful happy life.

Some time Cooku visit me in school to discuss some problems  about teaching aids to be used in teaching in school.

Cooku is in habit of getting involved in thinking  about  material  things or #external factors she sees in her life.

I tell her” dear Cooku you must change the #outlook of your life from within. Life doesn’t comprise of the material or external factors we see. Life comprises of deeper, unseen things that are more powerful than we can see or understand.”

I said ” Cooku I am science teacher, I do not follow blindly scientific principles that cannot explain #spiritual things. Spritual things are correlated  with our hearts. Unfortunately younger generation  is after materialistic  growth. Cooku spiritual things are more powerful and control #material things. Material possessions shouldn’t contribute to your happiness or #disappointment. If that was case then every rich person should be happy ,but that is not reality.”

Cooku said ” Madam I understand that when it comes to happiness, we should work on our #internal state, especially our state of mind. Majority of our problems originate from the way we perceive other people. Living with in our means is an art but not to feel #inferior about it.”

Cooku further said “madam I some time get involved  in thoughts like how come other people are better or worse by looking at the material things they posses or lack.”

I said ” best is never compare your life with others on bases of materialistic  things. The problem with this thinking is that our brains start processing information #wrongly that is thinking about material and money and not beyond that.”

Cooku said”madam you are right this way of thinking screw our brain’s capacity to make accurate judgments and therefore, better choices is sometimes #hindered, leading to poor decisions that may not align with our real desires. This  thinking pattern leads us to do error, more mistakes in life and that increases further misery in life.”

I further said “To achieve total happiness doesn’t require much #schooling, but requires us to draw it from within anytime we need it. It’s not dependent on external factors such as other people’s moods or attitudes.”

I further  said “It’s important to understand that life is controlled by #energy or vibrations. Question like am I honest to my self, about my duties in life is very important  to answer. Answer to this question can lead us to #positive energy / negative energy.”

Cooku said “madam   universe gives us what we give it. If we give it negative energy, we get negative vibrations, and same is true with positive  energy.”

I said ” Through concepts of science, we can’t understand these things because they’re spiritual things.”

I said “Dear Cooku please  don’t #overcomplicate life, just retain positive thoughts with you, if you want happiness, and it’ll come to you.”

Mom you Have Done Nothing for Us

I am a science teacher in a government school. My friend Sita is an arts teacher in our school. Unfortunately, my friend Sita lost her husband at an early age. She did not get much family support from her in-law's family and her own family.

Sita has one son Ramesh. Sita's son Ramesh is not a very supportive child to his #mother. But Sita with her efforts and hard work saw to it Ramesh got admission to a good medical college.

Sita at an early age got symptoms of arthritis. It is hard for her to manage school duties but with her strong willpower, she is managing the same. Ramesh used to visit his mother Sita twice a year. But sometimes during hot arguments with his mother unknowingly,  Ramesh will say ” Mom you have done nothing for me. On top of that you are suffering from a disease like arthritis, and complaining about #pain in joints.”.

Sometimes Sita will complain about Ramesh to me. I said,” Dear Sita you have been so #protective of your child therefore, Ramesh has not seen the outside world that's why he does so immature talks with you.”

After clearing the 4th year of MBBS Ramesh became a mature person. Once I and Sita were sitting in our garden with a cup of tea. Ramesh came to us. He was so #apologetic in his tone he said” Dear aunt I regret I have been so unfair to my mom.”

He further said ” Dear aunt, I have read in my MBBS course that when a woman is #pregnant, a cord is connected from the baby’s navel to the mother’s body, through cord baby receives his/her #nourishment. Sometimes the mother is not able to consume a balanced diet, in that case, the wise baby extracts essential #nutrients and minerals from the mother’s bones and joints to meet his/her needs. This process weakens the mother’s bones and joints, causing severe pain in #old age."

He further said"Yet, in this world, many children like me, often say so many unfair things to their mothers. What have you done for us? You haven’t done anything; you believe in taking a rest. You pretend to have pain and discomfort—you are an expert in doing #drama.!”. But those children do not  truly understand the pain and #suffering a mother endures."

Ramesh further said "Now when I am on steps of the ladder to become #physician, I do understand the pain my mother is suffering. I have no words to ask for apologies to my mother. I feel strong guilt in my  heart."

Sita was very happy for Ramesh. I said ” Sita there is a big change in Ramesh's personality. Now he is a gentleman and a good doctor. “

Sita did not say a word about her son, but tears of joy were rolling down her cheeks.

Moral – Never be in a fighting mood with your mother. She #sacrifices so much in her life to make her children go in the right direction.

You Can Not go in Past

I am science  teacher in government  school. My friend Radha is my immediate  neighbour  and teaches Mathematics  in private  #school. Her in laws some how feel that teaching in #government  school is better  than working in private school. Many times they hurt my friend Radha on this issue by saying we wish you could have got job in government  school, as pay #packet is much higher for government  school  teacher.

Radha my friend gets hurt by her in- laws statement  pointing towards nature of her job

I say “Dear Radha please forgive them. Please forget this fact you are teaching in private  school. By doing this you will #feel better. I know it is not that easy and  straight  forward . It takes time. Sometimes you may feel good, and other times you may feel sad again. But remember my friend when you every day  try to forget fact that you teach in private school, you get a little #stronger, even if you don’t notice it."

My friend Radha said” Madam as you advised me, I Don’t focus on the bad #stuff now. I have taken a break from it. I have stoped following things that #upset me. I Do things I love, like reading my favorite #books or hanging out with good friends. I have started enjoying laughing and having #fun. As per your advise madam now it is okay fot me to take a break from negative things and I try my best, how to be #happy again.”

I said” Dear friend teaching in private school has other positive  points.School offers state of art teaching aids. That give you opportunity  to learn something new. This give you chance to move forward in your profession. This positive  thinking will help you to move forward  with strong aptitude  towards teaching. On other hand If you keep thinking about your so called  #pain, it will just get worse. It’s hard, but you have to let it go. Recognize how you feel, but don’t keep going back to the hurt statements. You can not  change the past, best is to #move  on life with positive  energy."

Moral – There are many more important  things to be done in life rather than going in #past how some person  x #hurted you.Be aware that forgiveness is a process. Even small hurts may need to be revisited and forgiven again and again.

Society We Create

I am a science teacher in a government school. Sometimes I do self-talk. Another day's topic for my self-talk was how to create a healthy society in a nation.

I am listing below some salient points which I involved in my train of thought for the same.

1. For students of each class our School conducts tests weekly, #exams monthly, half-yearly -annually, in different subjects. Some students do meet failure. Some parents, for this reason, behave very rudely to their children.

Parents, please teach  children that #failure is a part of life.Parents, please do realise everyone can’t be ‘#genius. Everyone can’t become a leader. Being #average is fine.

Schools and parents should collectively work so that students can face failure in life. Accept his/her failure with grace. All This will bring positive energy to the atmosphere of the society we create.

2. On the other hand, if one is a genius, wholeheartedly he /she accepts others; then in general there won’t, be feelings of #inferiority, in the atmosphere of society we #create.

3. We(parents+school)must educate, our children to remain happy in given circumstances instead of chasing to become #rich. So that the society we create in its process of growth, should be able to adapt to circumstances painful – and difficult.

4. We must let our next generation understand, that life in this world is not smooth or a bed of roses. There is a possibility one may be #harassed, and not treated well even at the workplace. We should create a society where children must learn to fight for their rights. They must raise their voices against prevailing injustice. Sitting quietly and feeling #depressed, is not the solution to lead a good life.

5. In the society we create, children at school or home should not be compared with each other. Children are not here to be in the #rat race. They are here to #celebrate life, every moment with grace.

6. In society we create, children should learn important skills. So that they should be able to face the bad phase of life with grace.

7. School and parents should work together to create a society where children are more compassionate, calm and composed.

8. Friends, please! Come and join and create our society where the new #generation is more healthy physically and mentally.
