Light from Different Diyas

Suresh and Rakesh were neighbors. Both were classmates also.

On Diwali day it so happened Suresh decorated his house with #earthen lamps. While Rakesh lighted his house with lamps made of #gold and copper. Due to this Suresh could go out of his house and wish happy #Diwali to all his friends at night itself. But Rakesh could not go to wish his friends "Happy Diwali", as there was an instruction from his mother that he has to take care that not even a single diya made of gold and copper should go missing.

Suresh was very #anxious as he knew 22 carte gold is about 7K per #gram. Even copper diyas are also costly. After Diwali Suresh and Rakesh came to school. There was a discussion in class is earthen diya is better than diya made up of pure gold or copper metal .

One student Pushpendra said" According to me earthen diyas, are better as they do not get #heated up that easily, while golden and copper diya will get heated up soon. So it is not easy to handle diya made of pure gold or copper.

Moreover, oil in diya made of gold or copper will #finish fast compared to earthen diya in a fixed amount of time. She further said" Quality and #intensity of light may be same from both types of diyas. But definitely, it will be easy to handle earthen diya compared to diya made of metal gold or copper. Copper diyas are better in the sense that it is known for their antimicrobial properties. It is believed to purify the atmosphere of home."

I further said, " Copper diyas are sustainable in every weather and they can be used inside and outside the house." Moral- Friends can be poor or rich. But friends who help you more are better. The same applies to earthen diya and diya made of metal gold or copper diyas. It is the way you prioritize your thinking in particular circumstances.

Too Accomodative

I am science teacher in government school. Our school used to give students of 12 th class preparation leave before final board #examination. School used to give instructions that every student must get his/her practical note book evaluated by subject teacher. After that each class practical copy bundle would be signed by principal madam and below it school stamp was put by school authorties so to give identity to each student that practical note book belong to student of our school.

School was trying to become too accomodative by considering each student #problem. Some times few students never used to take this exercise of school being helpful #seriously. To avoid unpleasant situation our school used to announce last date to deposite practical note book to concerned teacher so that she/ he could get note book of each student signed by principal madam.

Doing so much, still some students will come just few days before practical exam to get principal madam signature on practical note book.

To make those students who don’t learn the value of #discipline , school authorities used to fine those students. This was never done in good taste. But those students forced school authorities to do so. It was sad but nothing could be done.

One student said" Madam school being too accommodating can make school family a bit #invisible, because it seems school never stand for anything. Therefore I am of strong view one cannot be always nice."

Moral - One can't be always nice and accomodative.Some people behave in such peculiar manner that one has to act in a manner which may not be always #good.

Success Has no Short Cut

When I was in primary school I used to think #grades I got in final examination will decide my entire life. Then I realized life is so much more.

In #secondary school I started believing talent is all a matter of life. I also realized personality traits are also equally important.

While growing in #college life, I started believing that #looks matter and good dressing sense gives one lot of confidence. Next day I began to care for my dressing sense and how I look.

One of my college friends told me #money doesn't matter in life. Next day my other friend taught me about #finances. I came to know soon no body has all answers to my questions.

With time I experienced ups and downs of my life and found #success is not short cut which I believed for many years in my life.

I often used to spend good amount of time with my friends and family but never gave serious thought to it. Now with time I realized I should have given more time to my #relatives and dear friends.

Many times in life I thought that adults were great at everything; and suddenly I became an adult myself, and found even adults donot know many things.

With time I got setbacks and advers experiences in life.I was cofused and shattered. Many good friends and my family taught me how to bounce back by fighting with misfortune. I developed capacity to cope with difficult stressful situations.

With all this mathematics about at different stages of my life, I found often the result of consistent hard work, dedication, and a willingness to learn give one success.

Other day my student Ram said" Madam sometimes shortcuts do offer temporary gains"

I said "Dear student but they rarely provide the foundation for long-term achievement and fulfillment.Therefore I am of view best is to avoid short cuts and build resilience in life.

Moral-Resilience is not about avoiding difficult experienced, but rather about developing the capacity to cope with them and learn from them.

Enhancing Life

I am science teacher in government school. I am incharge of co curricular activities of my school.

One of my student subodh asked me " Madam how to lead a #peaceful life."

I said "dear Subodh to lead peaceful life best is to live in #present. please do not concentrate much on #past and #future. Living in the present is the key to live a peacefull life. "

I further said "When you are leading life, you are experiencing two type of emotions good and bad. Common myth Is if you are enjoying your good emotions that means you are #enhancing your life. Work you do with those emotions sound #productive. But According to me in reality it is more risky .You will soon realize following #passion or interest in life is risky. You're not enhancing your life. So called #bad emotions if you work with them, they teach you hardest #lesson of life and you become wiser and enhance your life.

I concluded

There are several steps you can take to better yourself every day.

1. Set goals which are with in your reach and work towards them consistently.

2. Self-care is must and make time for activities that bring you joy and relaxation.

3. Make good habit to practice gratitude and focus on the positive aspects of your life.

4. Another point which is to be taken care is that in difficult circumstances please do not loose heart. Find out best possible solution for same.That will make you stronger and will enhance your life.

Moral : Don't be afraid to live your life by being yourself. You can break through problems of your mind by your life style and live #peaceful life.

Setting achievable goal in life is good practice to work on.Work towards your goal with hard work and dedication . In difficult circumstances find out best possible solution.Three points mentioned above help in enhancing life.

Does Small Things Annoy you

I am science teacher in government school.

Once I was traveling in night by #aeroplane. Suddenly small child sitting near my seat started #crying. People sitting around child seat were #annoyed . I noticed I was the only one who was not annoyed. I have made it my #habbit not to get annoyed with small happenings in my surroundings.

It is my experience that it is no good to get #annoyed about #small happenings in life. Once you do not let #little things annoy you, your life will be comfortable and #big happenings will rarely annoy you.

Respect is a two way process. You give respect, you get respect. Man being head of the family should take care that he is giving respect to each member of the family and sets examples for a young mind.

Wise man start this positive chain in #marriage. He loves and respects his wife. He respects his wife's feelings and makes her feel cared for.

To his co -operative attitude he gets,#respect from each member of the family. Therefore lives a peaceful happy life.

As a bonus, he can give two sweet fruit gifts to his family which he does realize in his old age.

Children of the house love their mother. They are continuously observing how their father is treating their mother.

1. Indirectly father's behaviour is teaching his son how to treat his wife.

2. Indirectly he is teaching his daughter also what she should expect from her man(son-in-law).

Moral - Well-behaved persons are #assest to family. Their exemplary behavior is # a treasure to the family.

While treating any person in the family please be careful in your words as indirectly with your behavior you are #influencing young #minds of the family.

People Pleasing

I am a science teacher in a government school. I am in charge of the co-curricular activities of my school.

Another day Rakesh student in class 11th of my school asked"Madam is people-pleasing a weakness or strength of a character? Madam, I do understand that people pleasing persons in all circumstances try to please x person, they try to #control what someone else thinks of him/her".

I said "Rakesh generally people pleasing activities are not thought to be a good thing. The logic behind this thought is people pleasers tend to neglect their own needs to please others. They eventually become a #doormat that others walk on. "

I further said"People-pleasing activities may initially bring positive praise and acceptance, but over time it can have negative effects on individuals and their #relationships. Persons who rely on the “people pleaser” will also become #dependent on them. In the process, dependent persons also lose their identity. Their relationship no longer remains happy and strong."

Rakesh said"Madam It stems from a desire to be liked, avoid #conflict, and gain approval, but can lead to negative sometimes. But it is a strength when it comes from a genuine place and cause of wanting to #help others."

I said " May be true. But according to me saying "no" is key to getting out of the cycle of unhealthy people pleasing."

Moral- people-pleasing activities have no limits and boundaries. Therefore people pleaser persons become #confused and lose their identity in due

People-pleasing is a shortcut to getting things done in life in a short time. Pleasing activities have negative consequences like burnout, resentment, and a loss of self-identity and individuality.
