Litmus Test of Life

Litmus test of life

My grand mother and grand father were great friends  to each other

My grandfather was retired teacher. But he has lot of patience and was soft spoken  for every  one.but he was very sarcastic and short tempered  for his wife my dadi. When I was upset with my Dada behavior  toward my dadi but could not express my anger toward my Dada.

Now I am adult and now I realise why was his behavior  was different  for my dadi.why was dadi so patient with his rude behavior.

Simple answer was my dadi was living for family and extended family therefore had developed capacity of being patient.

People who are vocal like my dada and has tendency to control my dadi   was actually living for himself not for others.

Both Dada and dadi were walking on same path but on opposite side of path. One path was to help other in real sense of word and other path  to help other in order to control  others. This is litmus test of life.

Conclusion is those who live for her/him self always spell out things.Sometimes dictate things. Those who live for others just remain quiet and absorbs sufferings.

Moral-Think that living for others (to help them) and living for others (to control them) is walking down different sides of the same path. Just live! And let others do the same for themselves.

Are you a controlling others to gain your ambitions? If yes please  think it over.

Validation

We are human beings and in this high-tech world we are changing with time, therefore times we wish to seek #acceptance from others. It is good to get acceptance from a person of integrity, who is sure to give valid #suggestions. Such persons are rare to find.

But sometimes seeking acceptance is similar to people pleasing. Sometimes if you want a favor from x person to create goodwill you give an expensive present. But sometimes you constantly adjust yourself so that you get accepted by person x needs. This type of validation from person x is not good for you. It will make you weak and you will always look for someone else's validation. With this exercise sometimes you lose your #confidence also. The best is to seek your validation  and make your #unique path of life."

Another day my student Ram said, "Madam  I have a strong fear of not being rejected therefore  I always look for my friend's validation ".

I said dear student" Some validation from friends is natural but see to it excessive reliance on external validation can negatively impact your personality. "

Are you also looking for validation from your friend?

Moral -The more you need person x validation, the more people look #down on you.

Keep your self-confidence high. Be careful some people give negative validation to make you look down on people around you.

Life partner Magic

 When you have with you,

 purpose and mission of life.,

In an empty room.

You can sit like a king,

Happiness come from within,

When you find a life partner,

Who is self-sufficient,

And operates on her own. ,

And you also operate on your own,

Together you become force unbeatable strong.

Who adds value to your mission,

Togethery ou amplify each other’s strengths,

Together you make less serious each other's, weaknesses,

Together you build a path of legacy.

On the energy front.

When you are ambitious driven ,,

and focused,

With the right partner,

You can scale peaks together,

And accelerate your exponential growth.

The big question is,

What happens without a partner,

With you who’s going to celebrate the #victories,

Who’s going to push you,

It's nobody,

But your partner is unique,

When you’re on the brink of giving up?

It’s a lonely path without someone.

A-right partner,

Who truly understands your journey.,

Without partner, who will strategize,

Shoulder the burdens when it gets too heavy,

Remember your partner who is the mirror,

That reflects your strengths.

Magic of the right partner ,

Highlights what is needed for growth,

Helps in #endeavor and highlights #success.

Mile Stone in Big Fat Rat Race

My student Ram always was very #competitive person since his school days. Getting ahead of others was his favorite goal in life. Finally, he entered one of the top IITs of the nation. He was very happy to get the CSE branch in the good IIT of our country.
The other day I was talking to Ram. He said" Madam I have realized this rat race is no good in the sense someone or another will always be better than me no matter how hard I may try. Now I just #compare that every day I am better than the previous day."
He further said" With the onset of #pandemic I realized that no #milestone is big enough to claim. Therefore I am happy madam" I said" Dear student disadvantage of being in a Rat Race is constant stress. Deadlines competition leads to anxiety which mentally exhausts the person involved in the rat race."
I further said"! happiness is a state of mind. Just count your #blessings Ram and be happy in the present moment. "
I further added" Lack of Work-Life Balance:The pursuit of financial and professional success can leave little time for personal life, hobbies, and relationships. Therfore please do concentrate on work life balance. "
Moral-If you have: the roof over your head, food on your plate, your parents are alive, you don’t have any major disease..etc. Not everyone has these luxuries. There is no #need to be part of the rat race

Co-curricular Activities add New Dimensions

When I was in school my parents taught me that activities like dance music and drama are #waste of time. I used to wonder how come it is so. Unfortunately I never got proper answer of my question.

When I joined  #B. Ed degree course in college, I found that co-curricular activities make you smart in other #aspects of life which you do not cover in pure academic  #curriculum.

After joining teaching at college, I found my friends not only are smart in academic activities they are smart in co-curricular activities also. I did realize it is #management of time, which my friends are good at. They spent a lot of time in activities other than academic activities. They are street smart. Participating in that endeavor they gained many #leadership skills which are so important to make them go #forward in life.

I tell my students "Dear students co-curricular activities provide you with opportunities to explore interests, develop skills, and in process help in your personal growth beyond the traditional #classroom setting."

Ramesh asked" Madam can my life be good if I just concentrate  on co co-curricular  activities  of school and somehow don't  concentrate  on academic  activities. "

I further said "Dear student  focusing solely on co-curricular activities can offer benefits like skill development and personal growth, but generally  these activities  are not sufficient  for all round development  and successful  life." .

A balanced approach that includes academics, career-oriented skills, and real-world experience is typically more beneficial.

Moral- You must try to learn #skills, whenever you get a chance to do so.

Tax free rich experience

My friend Asha was preparing for the NEET(National Entrance Test for MBBS). Examination. The whole family supported her in her dream college entry.

Asha's grandfather was retired army officer. He used to support Asha in her every activity, if it is #academic orco-curricular activity. Unfortunately, Asha could not pass the #NEET examination with good marks. She was unhappy about it.Asha'a grandfather asked Asha "What is the reason you could not pass the NEET examination"AshA said" Grandpa due to so much work pressure in the form of assignments given by the coaching center. I used to get #confused."

Asha's grandfather introduced Asha to a family who had no home. The family was putting up on road. Grandpa gave that family some money for #food. Within a week the family was assigned a small house also.Asha was surprised at how much pressure the #homeless family was living under.

Asha's grandfather said" Look Asha these homeless people are under pressure. You are given each #facility you asked for. You say I am under pressure."

Asha understood the meaning of pressure. For her second attempt to appear for the NEET examination, she worked hard. Asha came out of the NEET examination with #flying colors. The whole family was happy for Asha.

MORAL -Real pressure in life is felt by those who do not know when and where their next #meal will come.

Life dots

Other day I met my student Sita at bus stop. She shared many positive and many negative happening in her life. She was little confused.

I said"Dear student life often has series of dots and with time dots get scattered in canvas of life. Each dot in your life represents an event, an experience, a person, or a choice that you encounter on your journey".
I further said"Life sometimes gives you dots in many formats. Those dots could be meeting in your life journey some unique personalities, some praise you, some are jealous of you, some play mind games with you, some cheat you, some do everything to bring you down. These dots become milestones of your life. When you happen to connect them you realize what you are today is because of these dots. These dots get connected somehow or other and make you a better person."
My student said "Thanks madam for giving me informal education. This is so useful and interesting. " I as teacher was happy that I could give my student some insight useful to life. Moral - Friends don't be afraid of those dots in life which you get in the form of interactions with unique personalities, face them and learn from them.
