Real Enemy

I very often visit a general physician with my mother-in-law. She is diabetic.  Taking care of her diet and exercise is a big assignment for us. Taking a lesson from my mother-in-law's disease. I wrote a little poem entitled "Real Enemy" to educate young minds. The same I am listing below for the esteemed readers of blogger.com

Real Enemy

one may find that I am wordy a little,

But very important I am to one dear,

When one reads my name, it takes seconds,

When one thinks about me, it takes minutes,

When one tries to understand my chemical dynamics,

It takes one’s life whole.

What am I? Where am I?

When my contents are high,

In baby brain, I show up as ADHD,

In the adult brain; I show up as dementia,

In eyes, I show up as Glaucoma,

In teeth, I show up as cavities,

Under skin, I show up as aging,

In sleep, I show up as insomnia,

In blood, I show up as diabetes,

In whole system, I show up as cancer,

In wall street, I show up as a billion-dollar industry,

People are addicted to me.

People’s craving for me,

It is near order of magnitude higher,

Than craving for Cocaine.

Friends, guess who I am?

Rightly guessed, I am one’s sugar content present in blood,

Now it is for one to decide who one’s real enemy is.

To keep at bay one’s enemy real.

Please do maintain a healthy diet;

 With of course, good exercise,

To maintain the right amount of my sugar contents;

 In the system under observation,

And say bye to the enemy real.

Covid Work Life Environment

It was COVID time. Our school administration has advised all teachers to go for Zoom classes for children. I thought it would be good if before I resume my online classes

For teaching, I must educate students through my writing piece on how to make a work-life balance by sustaining the environment. I wrote a poem entitled#" Work - Life Balance- Environment" and posted it on the website of my school. The same I am listing below for my esteemed readers.

Work-Life Balance- Environment

Corona, you acted like a #forced storm on us,

You became a teacher and taught us to believe in #simple living,

You acted like #equalizer for every caste, creed and religion,

You taught us to be away from #pump and show life.

You locked down Earth for #repair of the environment,

Corona, we promise YOU; for our greed,

We will not misuse the environment,

Corona, please make us free from quarantine walls.

We promise you, Corona, we will care gently for the environment.

We have made vaccine for you(corona virus),

Corona, please help us, and please be away from vaccinated people,

Please don’t spread yourself in the community,

Help us by not showing your different #strains in the air,

Your strict punishments have made us wise,

Please let a cool peaceful breeze be present in the environment.

So that Work-life balance is maintained in the environment.

Mother Daughter Duo

My friend Sita got married to a very nice family. Her mother-in-law, Mrs Raka, was very much concerned about my friend Sita's need. Raka will communicate with Sita for every bit of her need. Sita soon realised communication is key to a healthy and# happy relationship.

Sita's in-laws gave powerful advice that saved Sita and her husband a lot of stress and trouble in the long run. Living #below one means spending less than one earns, saving some money for #emergencies and future goals, and avoiding unnecessary# debt was her in-laws' precious advice. This way, Sita enjoyed her life without worrying about money all the time.

Sita's family valued # unity of family. Howsoever strong one might be in this world,# family and friends are an important part of one's life. They'll provide one with all kinds of support to fight the situations. One can't win a battle alone# folks! So Raka taught Sita how to# cherish one's loved ones and not to take them for granted.

Raka and Sita will go to their favourite salon in the morning or soon after it opens for hair haircut. Raka believed that a hair stylist would be fresh and more# creative in the morning. A good haircut can boost one's confidence and make one feel good about oneself was a strong belief of Raka.

Sita's mother-in-law, Raka, taught   Sita to massage her feet daily before sleeping.  Most of one's body's #acupressure points lie on one's feet. Massaging them can stimulate blood circulation, relax one's muscles, and improve one's overall health.

Soon after two years, Sita and Raka# strong bonding was visible to everyone.Everyone thought duo were daughter -mother not daughter in law- mother in law.

Keep away Sadness

I am a school teacher. I love my job. I am dealing with little kids, and I can mold them as I want. I am so happy during my teaching time, I have inculcated so many good values in my students. Some of my students are doing so well in life. I am so, so happy for them.

Many of my students, when they visit me, often ask me questions, Madam, how cum you remain happy, as school teachers are not paid well.

My short answer to them is friends #happiness comes from inside, not from outside.

During my  co-curricula activity class once I talked to students about the topic #'happiness."

My submissions, which I wish to share with my esteemed readers, were following

Happiness in life leads to success; on the other hand, success in life may not lead to happiness.

For #materialistic gains, or sometimes for fame gain, one does do overwork. Sometimes one's health is also at stake. But one never evaluates oneself. One keeps working and sometimes, during exercise, forgets to give any priority to one's family. In the end, one gets financial gains but loses track of one's family and feels very lonely. In other words, in this exercise of materialistic gain, one loses one's peace of mind. One always has feelings as if something is lost in life.

Way of going through life, but all depends on our #willingness to change our attitude towards everything in life.

The older we get, the more we realize... the ultimate #luxury of life is "Peace of Mind". So friends! Never leave one's peace of mind, whatever may be one's circumstances.

Moral of story-if one keeps tension and sadness in one's heart, one can never be happy. If one has roses of sweet memories of time spent doing assigned duties honestly, one is always happy.

Honesty Bravery and Patience

Sarla was my research Scholar. She was a very sincere student. After working for two years on her Ph.D. program, she got married.

One day, after we discussed the thesis problem results, Sarla asked me, "Madam, I am confused about what is essential in life, that is, money, love or family support"?

I said, "In life, you need all three, dear Sarla: money, love and good family support. Life is not as simple as one thinks. Please do not consider life as a box full of essential materialistic things. Life is much above ∗ categories. Life never says that I am full of joy. Nor does it say I am not full of sorrows. In life, some sometimes joy ad sorrow co exist, but still it is far from both joy and sorrow."

I further said, "Sarla, please imagine∗ astronauts, sometimes they can not experience time. This unique example I am giving you, dear student, is to let you realize that life can give one an experience like this. Some experience of life give one numbness also."

I also further said, "Sarla's life is a personal experience, which has a billion flavors. Every flavor has many, many colors, and in each color, there are tunnel-like paths. These paths get connected randomly."

Sarla nodded her head and said, "Thanks, madam, for giving me the flavour of life in such few sentences and short time."

I said, "Sarla, be brave and face life with honesty, trust, walk on life's rope tightly with open eyes, with the support of your dear ones. Sarla, please also remember∗ best things in life are free example, sleep, smile and laughter."

Sarla had big smile on her face,of course! A bit confused, she looked bit more confident than before.

The moral of the story is friends, whatever one gets in life, it all depends on one's brain cells, that is, how positively one faces happenings in life, how much each brain cell is capable of thinking differently. It also depends on how much courage and strength one has to go against the crowd. Hence, honesty, bravery and patience are traits essential

Quote about Science Technology Sukarma Thareja

The current generation is being dealt with in   innovative science experiment.  It is the first generation raised by  modern technology, and we’re starting to see the  effects of it if used in excess amounts. Let us be responsible citizens/parents and use this weapon of technology for making a positive society.

Joy of Being Independent

I  studied in a good school. Teachers were very good to students.

We used to get a lot of academic projects which were to be completed in a fixed time. Mostly, we used to take help from internet and the library to complete assigned projects. Sometimes discussions in a peer group were also very valuable.

We had many friends whose parents used to help them a lot in finishing assigned projects. Sometimes I will feel #dejected, thinking I wish my parents could help me in doing so. But my parents used to encourage me to be independent while doing those projects. That habit, which my parents inculcated in me at that time, has come a long way with me. I find I remain happy by doing everything in my life by myself. I have no expectations from others. I think that is a simple formula to remain happy and balanced in life.

Now I have grown old, same habit I try to inculcate in my students and in myown children.

The moral of the story is friends that I have seen many students in my lifetime .Those students are afraid of the examination results. They are those students who expect more from examiners and  teachers rather than from themselves.

Countdown at Science Lab

I was a Ph.D student in the Department of Chemistry at IIT-Kanpur.  I had the fortune of doing many good courses

At IIT-K. After submitting my thesis, it was time for me to go home. That very night in my room, I wrote a poem

entitled"Countdown Research Lab IIT-Kanpur". The same I am listing below for my esteemed readers.

I left the main gate of my alma mater research lab with a heavy heart,

I count back from ten as I walk to my  IIT-Kanpur main gate,

I thought about my research lab,

How this holy temple of research lab,

Helped me on a lovely journey,

Of my passion for knowledge- science.

How the lab blessed me on my head at Nine,

At eight, I smiled at myself,

Lucky to be associated with such a prestigious lab,

At one point in my life.

At seven  magical hands mine,

Shook with an important,

Science chemical physics algorithms used in the lab,

Six times I presented research results,

At conferences, international prestigious conferences.

I refuse to go back home,

And always wished to be in a research lab at Five,

At four, I told myself how much I "adore my research lab ",

At three, I said magical words"I love you",

To my research science lab.

At two, I recollected pleasant experiences,

I got into my research science lab,

I looked at all the photographs,

Collection I took in the research lab.

At one, I closed my house gate happily,

I went to my bed and closed my eyes,

Slept with important research findings,

Close to my heart, I carried out my research Science lab.
