Light from Different Diyas
Suresh and Rakesh were neighbors. Both were classmates also.
On Diwali day it so happened Suresh decorated his house with #earthen lamps. While Rakesh lighted his house with lamps made of #gold and copper.
Due to this Suresh could go out of his house and wish happy #Diwali to all his friends at night itself.
But Rakesh could not go to wish his friends "Happy Diwali", as there was an instruction from his mother that he has to take care that not even a single diya made of gold and copper should go missing.
Suresh was very #anxious as he knew 22 carte gold is about 7K per #gram. Even copper diyas are also costly.
After Diwali Suresh and Rakesh came to school. There was a discussion in class is earthen diya is better than diya made up of pure gold or copper metal .
One student Pushpendra said" According to me earthen diyas, are better as they do not get #heated up that easily, while golden and copper diya will get heated up soon. So it is not easy to handle diya made of pure gold or copper.
Moreover, oil in diya made of gold or copper will #finish fast compared to earthen diya in a fixed amount of time.
She further said" Quality and #intensity of light may be same from both types of diyas. But definitely, it will be easy to handle earthen diya compared to diya made of metal gold or copper. Copper diyas are better in the sense that it is known for their antimicrobial properties. It is believed to purify the atmosphere of home."
I further said, " Copper diyas are sustainable in every weather and they can be used inside and outside the house."
Moral- Friends can be poor or rich. But friends who help you more are better. The same applies to earthen diya and diya made of metal gold or copper diyas. It is the way you prioritize your thinking in particular circumstances.

Too Accomodative
I am science teacher in government school. Our school used to give students of 12 th class preparation leave before final board #examination. School used to give instructions that every student must get his/her practical note book evaluated by subject teacher. After that each class practical copy bundle would be signed by principal madam and below it school stamp was put by school authorties so to give identity to each student that practical note book belong to student of our school.
School was trying to become too accomodative by considering each student #problem. Some times few students never used to take this exercise of school being helpful #seriously. To avoid unpleasant situation our school used to announce last date to deposite practical note book to concerned teacher so that she/ he could get note book of each student signed by principal madam.
Doing so much, still some students will come just few days before practical exam to get principal madam signature on practical note book.
To make those students who don’t learn the value of #discipline , school authorities used to fine those students. This was never done in good taste. But those students forced school authorities to do so. It was sad but nothing could be done.
One student said" Madam school being too accommodating can make school family a bit #invisible, because it seems school never stand for anything. Therefore I am of strong view one cannot be always nice."
Moral - One can't be always nice and accomodative. Some people behave in such peculiar manner that one has to act in a manner which may not be always #good.

Emotion Love
I was talking to my students about special bonds in any relationship.
The question is when special bonds are formed between two hearts.
I said, " Special bonds are formed between two #hearts. When two people help each other out of #respect and feel a deep #connection. This feeling/emotion is named Love."
Rajan said, " Special bond of Love means working through #problems together, chasing dreams side by side by being honest and trusting each other."
Radha asked," Madam, why is love not a feeling?"
I said, " Love is not a feeling (though we certainly do feel love), it's an intimate emotional bond that strengthens over time through a series of supportive actions. Friends, please take actions that build love and that strengthen love in life. And over time, the intimate emotional #bond that is love will be formed."
Mohan asked, "Madam, is love a positive or negative emotion?"
I said, "Dear students, love can vary in #intensity and can change over time. It is associated with a range of positive emotions, including happiness, excitement, and life satisfaction, but sometimes it can also result in very powerful negative emotions such as jealousy and stress."
Ram asked, "What kind of emotion is love?"
I further said, "Love is a set of emotions and behaviors. Elements present in this set are intimacy, passion, and commitment. Love involves care, closeness, protectiveness, attraction, affection, and trust."
Inder said, " Many people think love is not an emotion in the way we typically understand it, but an essential physiological drive."
Mohan said, " Madam, is it normal to be #jealous when in love?"
I said, "It is normal to feel jealous when in love. The question is what you do with this jealous feeling. Please accept jealousy as part of your everyday emotional #spectrum. Please do not make it hyper, and the best is to ignore it."
Hormones like oxytocin, often called the "love hormone," play a crucial role in forming bonds of love.
Moral-Honest help, respect and trust for each other are three main #pillars of 'emotional' love.

Science Behind Names of kids
I am a Grade One teacher, and I say " parents who give their kids an odd name or one that is difficult to spell put their kids at a disadvantage when it comes to learning how to write. "
I remember I had a smart student, Arunabh, in my class. His name was difficult to spell, and it took him longer to learn how to spell it. Arunabh's parents were of the view that the name should have a good meaning, so whenever you call a child by his name, it should give a good impression on the child's personality.
While there were students in my class who had more common names with easier spelling achieved the task of writing their name quickly and had a sense of achievement for the same.
Those kids who worked hard to learn how to write their name often exhibited a lower sense of self-esteem as they watched other students able to spell simple names like Rani and Raja quickly.
Sometimes, when I hear an oddly spelled name, I wonder if their parents have a clue what difficulties they're putting on their child.
I say, "The idea of names is acting like a 'first handshake' for the ears, and it gives such a powerful image.
I love the connection to sound symbolism and how our brains associate names with traits."
I further say, "
When you shout out x name, that name carry culture, history, and emotion and deserves to be treated with that weight.
A name like Rani, which means queen. The name Raja means king. Similarly name Medha means intelligence. All three names mentioned above carry culture and history, and emotions."
I strongly believe that it is such fun to pronounce the names of students and know their associated meaning.
Many parents don’t realize there is science behind what makes names sound pleasing. Some of these names do have a nice ring to the ears. Like the female name Rimjhim rings so well in ears— gets me thinking about what makes a name memorable.
Some teachers believe that taking students' attendance with roll number saves much of their time. But I beg to differ from their opinion. Taking attendance of students by calling students' names has a positive impact on students' personalities.
I request my esteemed readers, "When you assign a name to a child, kindly take care of the following aspect in mind."
1. A child's name should ring pleasant in the ears
2. The child's name should not be difficult to pronounce and write.
3. If possible child's name should have good cultural and historical references.
The best example of the three aspects mentioned above is the name Ram. So simple to speak and write. It has a cultural historical reference. It sounds sweet to the ears.
Short names with good meaning and a pleasant, sweet sound have a positive impact on a child's personality.

Luck vs Blessings
There are many persons in this world who are not very mature . Their vision is also not vide. Whenever they have dialogue with almighty they ask him for good luck in their life.
On other hand there are mature persons also on this planet. Whenever they have dialogue with almighty they ask him for his valuable blessing in their life.
Moral.- There is difference between luck and bledsings 🙌. Good luck is there for short time in life while blessings remain with person throught out life.
Luck" and "blessings" are often used to describe positive outcomes, but they carry different connotations. Luck is typically viewed as random chance or good fortune, while blessings are often associated with a higher power or divine favor. Some view blessings as the result of positive actions and intentions, while luck is seen as something that simply happens.
Here's a more detailed look at the differences:
Luck:
Source: Often attributed to chance or coincidence.
Cause: Seen as unpredictable and not necessarily linked to personal actions or merit.
Meaning: Good fortune or a favorable outcome due to chance.
Blessings:
Source: Often associated with a divine or spiritual source, such as God, a higher power, or even the universe.
Cause: May be seen as a result of positive actions, prayers, or simply a gift from a higher power.
Meaning: A gift, grace, or favor bestowed upon someone, often undeserved.
In essence:
Luck is like finding a $20 on the street. It's a positive outcome, but it's largely due to chance.
A blessing is like having a friend help you move into a new apartment. While you may have put in effort to find the apartment and prepare for the move, the friend's help is an extra, positive contribution, potentially seen as a blessing.
Ultimately, the distinction between luck and blessings is often a matter of perspective and personal belief. Some people view all positive outcomes as blessings, while others see luck as a separate, more random force.

Best Least Square Fitting techniques
When I was in secondary school, I was a keen observer of #dynamics of life in my joint family and the dynamics of humans in side my school. My observations used to disturb me sometimes. I was always looking for answers on how to reduce suffering, which I am observing inside my joint family and the family of humans in my surroundings.
From personal loss, personal #grief and experience of joy, I had so many questions in mind. My best mentor was my respected mother. I used to ask her why this particular suffering occurred and how to solve the problem causing suffering in life. Who is creating suffering for humans in the joint family and outside family? I was a close observer of every big and small event surrounding me. My mother used to answer my many queries. But my many crucial questions, my mother used to avoid. I was not happy with my mom for the same
Now I have grown up. I am the mother of two kids and had the opportunity of getting hard core training in chemistry/theoretical chemistry.
I have many indirect answers to many problems in my life, as chemistry has taught me useful skills. Because it is a science, learning chemistry means learning how to be objective and how to reason and solve problems. Now I have answers to many questions I often asked my dear mother. With all summed up experiences at different phases of my life, I conclude that personal #discovery and #growth in life comes from letting there be room for all of this to happen, that is, room for #grief, for #relief, for #misery, for #joy.
Being a chemist has positively impacted my ability to handle problems as a person. While chemistry itself is a field of study, the skills and mindset developed through studying it has translated me into being a more effective problem-solver in other areas of life. Like managing the finances of the household and the big school fees of children, when my finances are low, in life.
Training in fitting the potential energy surface of a simple reaction using a mathematical function has given me a big support in managing my day-to-day life difficult operations. Critical thinking and analytical ability developed by solving theoretical chemistry problems have given me the unique confidence to handle the problems that I encounter while teaching my young kids at the primary level. Medicines and drugs needed to overcome simple diseases, cooking extra tasty food by knowledge and training in chemistry/theoretical chemistry, helps me to understand current events, including news about petroleum, product recalls, pollution, the environment, and technological advances.
Best to have a sincere dialogue with the mighty every day. Have sincere faith in him. He always helps us to adjust our grief and our relief, and our joy in mysterious ways in our lives. Sometimes I think God knows best least square fitting method to relieve every problem of our life. I thank God and my respected #chemistry/theoretical chemistry teachers for giving me the wisdom to use my chemistry/theoretical chemistry training in handling my problems in life.
Moral: Do not get #scared from the grief and miseries of life. They make you strong. It is not possible for you to always have #joy only in your life. Training in chemistry also teaches the same.

Quietly Humm
I am a science teacher in a government school. I am in charge of -curricular activities of the school.
The other day, I met my old student Kantesh at the school educational #conference. He said Madam, Many old students of our school remember you as the # hummingbird (humming sound comes from its wings as it flies) of our school. We often observed that when you are facing some uncertain situations in school, to avoid #anxiety, students always observed that Madam takes the help of humming to make herself #ease with difficult situations."
I said "thanks to students for observing me so keenly. Kantesh, "HUMMING is a stress buster. It is advisable to do humming when things are not good in life. When you hum, it may look like you are slowing down in your activity, but you are creating a space between your #thoughts and your #nervous system."
Kantesh said, "Madam, humming decreases the load on the nervous system. While you are humming, new thoughts can not be #created. That is the reason the humming technique is very good to decrease anxiety."
I said, "Kantesh, there is solid science behind humming activity. It helps in activation of the #parasympathetic nervous system, which helps you to #relax and recover. Humming also increases the amount of #nitric oxide in your nasal passage, which helps in widening of blood vessels and decreases stress on the #heart."
Kantesh said, "Madam, our yoga teacher told us #bhramari pranayam also involves humming as a stress buster. Chanting "OM " is initiating humming #vibrations with long trailing mmmm."
I further said," Humming releases hormone #MELATONIN, which directs our body to sleep. Therefore, dear Kantesh, whenever I am heading into a difficult conversation or an intense meeting, I quietly hum my way through the #elevator ride and down the hall in school."
Moral-as soon as you get anxious about anything in life. The best is to start humming.

Scientist Masala Tea
In beakers and equations, she finds her day,
A woman scientist, come what may.
But dawn's first light, a different call,
A fragrant brew, before the fall.
Cardamom's spice, and ginger's bite,
A symphony of flavors, warm and bright.
Masala's magic, a soothing art,
A pause for thought, to play her part.
With every sip, a gentle grace,
She sees the patterns, finds her place.
In molecules and equations, she sees
The mystery of life, with every ease.
And now refreshed, with fire in her soul,
She turns to science, to make her whole.
The masala's warmth, a guiding light,
To solve the puzzles, day and night.

Never let Your Excuses become stronger than yor skills
I was a science teacher in a government school. I was always interested in#innovative methods of science teaching. I used to carry out simple lab # demonstrations to make my lesson effective and interesting. I always believed in giving a lot of practice to students in #numerical exercises.
One day, I asked myself why I do not try science, art writing to make my students learn difficult concepts of #science more easily. I started writing poems on science concepts. But I was very hesitant to send them for publication. What if I fail? What if someone who knows me finds my writing on the internet and writes negative #comments about the same. What if people do not understand my writing and make fun of my writing style?
What particular #"NICHE" should I follow in my writings. The list of questions that I asked myself kept increasing day by day, and sometimes made me #anxious about the same. I could feel that I was nervous about the answers to all the questions mentioned above. In my creative science arts writings, will I ever be able to cross #barrier of the creative writing path? Answers to all questions were not clear to me. I always felt I might not be a total failure in this endeavor.
At last I took a bold #decision and started sending my science art writing "poems" for publication in national and international journals. I was very happy when my science, art poetry were accepted in good magazines and journals also.
Many national and international creative writers wrote positive comments about my creative freelance writing. Now I have a good platform for my creative writing interactions and exchange of views. Now I regret how #immature I was. I took so much time sending my poems for publication in different magazines and journals. I was making all the wrong excuses to do the required exercise.
https://share.google/xISLncHylkeMybAWF
Moral: Never let your excuses be stronger than #will. This Feeling will never let you achieve your #goals of life.

Strong Window of Home
Every house has strong windows for proper circulation of sunlight and fresh air. Windows safeguard the house in every circumstance.
I tell my students, "You are students of science. You know circular/oval windows disperse pressure along their circumference, reducing the danger of breaking. That is the reason aeroplanes have oval windows. The structure of windows saves passengers in an aeroplane."
Radha said, " Madam, an efficient homemaker is the window of the family. She structures her personality like a strong window where there are no hard #corners. Her high EQ, IQ and patience make her strong so that there is no pressure or at least little pressure on her in day-to-day life."
I further said, "Home maker adopts her personality in such a way that every pressure of homemaking gets evenly distributed in the time domain. She is very precise with her finances, also reducing the likelihood of her not cracking under the changing pressures of the home front and work front."
Rakesh said, "Madam good home maker is like an aeroplane window does not have sharp corners in her personality. She strongly works on traits of her personality so that there is no #stress rise. This way she can keep a cordial atmosphere in the home."
My student Rita said, "My aunt is a smart homemaker. She teaches in school, too. She has a lot of patience and always keeps a tap on work-life balance through her working style and pleasant personality. Madam, now, if I look back, she is an oval strong window of an aeroplane which is her home."
Moral -Comparing a Good home maker to an aeroplane oval window is a good teaching example of science, arts writing.
