Examination Grades and life Experience

I am a science teacher in a government school. Naresh and Rahul, both my students, were very good in #academics. Fortunately, Naresh and Rahul got 99 percent marks in  12th and got admission in a good #medical college in the city.

Naresh was very good in #social skills. He was always interested in making connections with his seniors, friends and students from other schools. His family background also believed in making bridges in #relationships. His two cousin brothers were reputed doctors of the city. His father was also reputed  lawyer of the city.

Rahul was different than Naresh. Rahul never concentrated on his social skills. He never believed in making efforts to be in touch with his seniors and childhood friends.

Naresh and Rahul became good doctors in the city. People had a lot of faith in their line of #treatment for sick #patients. Somehow, the people of the city had more faith in Naresh's methodology of treatment of patients.

Doctor Rahul had his unique way of working. Many people in the city also liked his line of treatment. Naresh and Rahul were good friends. Our school is proud of its #alumni, Dr.Naresh and Dr. Rahul.

Rahul and Naresh were good doctors in the city. Dr Naresh was better at balancing the academic achievement and different life experiences he had in his personal and professional life. Dr Naresh was well well-rounded individual; therefore, he was able to contribute more to the well-being of society. He was good at giving leadership in social projects in society.

It is true methods of working of Dr Naresh and Dr  Rahul are different, but one thing is clear: grades obtained in #examination are not the only measure of values one possesses. Connections, background and practical skills often surpass academic performance.

Moral-Grades obtained in examination can open doors of opportunities. But how one avails those opportunities is entirely in her/his hands. Her/ his background, value system and skills help him/ her in making unique pathways in life.

Are you also availing opportunities available  at hand in life.?
