Parenting Tips Quote Sukarma Thareja

When parents constantly choose peace over boundaries, children miss out on learning important life skills like frustration tolerance, respect, and emotional regulation.

Sukarma Thareja

Remember that parenting isn't about keeping everyone happy all the time; it's about making uncomfortable but necessary choices in the best interest of your child. Sometimes, protecting your child means disappointing others and learning to be okay with that.

Working at Fast Food Joint

 editorial@firesidefiction.com

My friend Neelam used to work in fast fast-food joint. Many of us may think that this job is an easy one. Actually, it is not so. I learnt many good lessons from the experience of my friend Neelam's challenging job. I am listing the same below.

Working at a fast-food job teaches one how to work under pressure and manage one's time. One has to deal with busy periods, long lines, unexpected situations, and multiple tasks at once. One learns how to prioritize, multitask, adapt, and stay calm. One has to follow rules, procedures, and standards in the distribution of food and making bills. These are all important skills for this job.

Working at a fast-food joint teaches one how to appreciate what one has and what others do for others. One will see firsthand how hard these jobs can be, how much effort and energy they require, and how little they pay.

The moral of the story is- one realizes how much workers at a fast food joint work hard, and therefore they deserve respect and recognition for their work. One also realizes how lucky one is to have other opportunities and choices in life. One can learn from fast food joint workers how to be grateful and humble. These are all valuable qualities one should learn from workers at fast food joint.

Different Formats of Rela

 We often talk about relationships,

Sincere efforts help in maintaining relationships,

People  emotional were, our fathers, forefathers,

Hence always cared about relationships.

After that time, some people were practical,

In their nature.

It's good to be practical in caring for relationships,

They did not believe in the " forget and forget philosophy,

In maintaining relationships,

They believed in taking advantage of relationships,

In today day-to-day life and professional life.

Now the new generation is very professional,

For them, if possibility of any transaction is in their favor,

Then only is it useful for establishing a relationship,

Other, wise situation is not favorable in the name of a relationship.

Beauty Lies in Beholder's Eye

I had a friend, Gita, in my school. I joined #B.Sc(Hons)Chemistry in college. While my friend Gita joined #B.Sc(Nursing) in a nursing college.

The other day, Gita was in my dreams. I asked Gita, You have been in such a beautiful profession. Please answer my one unique question.

When is a girl or a woman most beautiful? Gita asked me why I am

I asked her such a question.

I told Gita the same question was asked by my girl student when I

Was teaching in a girls' college. Gita gave me several good points about the same.

I said, dear Gita, a woman is such a #beautiful creation of God; according to me, a woman will be most beautiful in every circumstance.

After discussing the same with my dear mother, I wrote a small poem in the form of a dialogue to paste on my school notice board to educate young minds. The same I am listing below for my respected readers.

When is a Woman Beautiful?

Me- In her teens and early twenties.

When she falls in love and is #loved back equally.

Mother- On the day of her wedding.

On the birth of her child/children.

Me- When she #juggles work at home and the office.

Tired after a full day’s work, she enters the kitchen to cook for her family.

Mother- When the first strands of #grey hair mark her temples.

When she waits for her kids to call her while they are away.

Me- When she gets her kids #married.

 When she becomes a #granny.

Mother- After all this time when she still wakes up early to prepare that special tea for her #husband.

When all her hairs go white, and she becomes #toothless.

Me- Finally, when she #rests in peace

Mother-Ones beauty doesn't exist on its own but is created and appreciated by observers.

A woman's internal beauty always adds to her so-called external beauty.

Moral of the Story: Every girl/woman is internally and externally beautiful, in every way and at all times. One should only have the right eyes to see that. Beauty lies in beholder's eyes. Beauty doesn't exist on its own but is created by beholder

Walking Talking University

One day, a student asked me, "Who was your  favorite teacher, madam?"

My submission to my student is as follows. I wrote the same in the form of a small article, "Walking Talking University", which I am listing below for my esteemed readers.

My mother was my favorite teacher. When I was young, I used to wonder how my mother knew all things, which sometimes my teacher also did not know.

Mothers, while teaching, do not follow any curriculum and subject syllabus. They teach all topics. I don't remember a single topic that my mother did not touch while giving me #informal education.

Mothers teach manners, morals, ethical values, justice,#work-life balance and psychology to

Mother teaches how to stand, sleep, get up, walk, talk, sit down, eat, drink and live #respectable life to children.

Mothers scold, pamper, and decorate children.

Mothers play and sometimes #tease children.

Mothers are friends and # philosopher's guide to children.

Mothers are walking talking university for

Moral of Story-friends nothing could be better than mother, #mother tongue and # motherland

Sea Shells and Vast Ocean

I was  teaching in school. I had the fortune of taking my class to the #sea beach. Some of my students have seen sea beach first time in their life. Some students were very happy to see vastness of sea and water sea waves height.

I sat with my students in safe place in sea beach. It was wonderful experience to be with my students and answering their small queries. Many students were playing with #beach sand .It was unique experience for them.

We were lucky to sea Whales in #marine water.

We did working lunch at beach.Suddenly sky became cloudy.Students noticed that sea wave height also changed.

One of most striking features of beach was #sea shells(Mother of pearl). I told my students most shells come from animal #Mollusks. They have an outermost layers of tissues(mantle) on their bodies.#Mantle creates shell.#Calcium carbonate is main mineral found in #shells(including eggshells)

8 When the animal inside sea shell dies, over time shells break down. They become part of sand.#White beaches have sand made almost entirely bits of shells. These mullusks shell also form real pearls also which we use to form pearl ornaments.

I was o happy to educate my students about #science behind sea shells.

I asked students what message sea give us.

Students gave very creative answers.

I summarize the same below.

Sea is so vast it tells one should be prepared to face vast things in life.

Sea waves height keep varying which shows that our life waves can also be of different height.

Sea is mother of so many different form of#flora and fauna.Which brings oxygen in mother nature atmosphere.

Sea brings diversity in mother nature life.

We must protect all our sea life to bring #richness in our life.

Sea is best gift of mother nature to man kind.

Myself and my students were Ah! when we observed #setting sun on beach.

Moral of story-Friends the shells(mother of pearls) on beach remind us that #treasure arrive in life in form of simple things(sea shells).

Golden Ratio Mother Love

I was on sabbatical leave from my Institute. I have a small project(science) abroad. My mother was not well. But in any case, I had to go as everything was pre-planned and fixed. I went for the same with a heavy heart. After a few days, I expressed my anxiety for my dear mom in the form of a science arts writing poem entitled"Golden Ratio-Quantify my mother love", the same was sent to my students to teach them about the golden ratio rule. The same poem I am listing below for my esteemed readers.

https://www.canva.com/learn/what-is-the-golden-ratio/

https://www.smorescience.com/golden-ratio-in-human-body/

I was a student ,

I was on a mission,

  To study abroad,

I missed my mom,

I wanted to communicate,

With my ailing mom,

My father had allotted to me,

Two #What’s up phone calls per day,

Whenever my phone rings,

I will put my ear near my mobile,

Tears will roll down on my cheeks,

I have no courage to speak,

And will listen to breath,

Of my dear #ailing mother,

Proudly, I will say Father,

I have used one call in the morning,

I have saved another call,

 for evening time.

.

The next day, I  sent my

What’s up, message to my dear mom,

In the language of my heart,

Quantifying my love for my mom,

#Golden ratio indeed is best,

Maybe with #equation with a and b,

a/b=b/(a plus b)

It means

My love (a for  you, mom,

Is equal to your love(b),

 For me(a) and yourself(b),

Which is golden ratio #eternal,

Will heal you very soon, Mom.

This golden ratio is #driving force,

Of our love for each other Mom,

Please hold on to this golden,

 Ratio till your daughter,

Dear reach to you mom,

And wish you and #hug you,

From the core of her heart.
