Chemistry Leading its Full life

I was teaching  chemistry to my class in chemistry lab. I got a knock at my chemistry lab door. I got a knock at my chemistry lab door. A very pleasant angel-like figure came to me and asked, "Where is chemistry madam?"I said, " I do not know. That angel-like figure said," I am asking you this, madam, as I hear that chemistry has taken leave today. I know chemistry very closely; she never takes leave. There must be some urgent work for her to do, that's why she must have taken leave. I said to Angel, "Please don’t knock at this time on my lab door. I have to finish my class".

Angel searched hard for chemistry. Angel noticed the chemistry department was concerned about the health of a sick student at the university. So she was monitoring the antibiotics taken by sick students in the university health center. Chemistry was asking the health center staff about life-saving drugs, also.

Angel also found chemistry chatting with the university team that makes policies for the well-being of students.

Angel was happy to find how happy chemistry was to put good, balanced food on students' plates.

Angel also talked to chemistry and found that Chemistry is very proud of her discovery of the synthesis of fertilizer ammonium nitrate, which made food possible for every child in the world. She felt happy that#UNESCO and the world appreciate her(chemistry) for being generous –brilliantly.

Angel found chemistry while visiting the old-age home of the university. She was distributing beautiful synthetic polymer dresses very happily to those in need people her dear ones.

Chemistry said to the angel, "She is very grateful to the university administration for giving funding to teachers so that they could do high-level research in my (chemistry) deep-rooted nature. "

Chemistry said further, "She feels blessed that her humble bonding with the university trust for decades and centuries has helped in her personal growth. In world-class universities, museums, high-tech parks, hospitals, she feels very humbled when people thank her for giving a helping hand in the operation theater and classroom and research Lab and entertainment theatres, classrooms, defence and research labs.

Angel briefed me and said, "Madam Chemistry is visiting so many places, every moment echoes of blessing for her  (chemistry )are ringing wide.  Everyone has praise for the blessings of discoveries in chemistry with gratitude at heart. It may seem Chemistry is on leave today, but for a purpose---"

Angel suddenly disappeared; it was time for me to get up. My heart was filled with joy. I only wished alas, I could have talked to Angel for a longer time

Small Science STEM-STEAM Projects

I am science teacher in government school. I teach students coming from different, varied backgrounds. Sometimes it is challenging to do so. Handling students' problems with creativity has become a way of my life.

I have planted three medicinal plants, which are tulsi, rose plants, and piperament creeper, in a little garden near my lab in my school.

With my little ideas #creative, I dried rose flower leaves from my home-planted rose plants. To show aroma of rose petals in preparation of food, I prepared kheer with rice, milk and rose petals and served my students at a small get together in #new year. Students were happy to know the creative idea of using rose petals.

I always request students to press flowers in thick blotting paper and make a collage of the structure of a water molecule or any useful chemical with this. This unique creative STEAM educational aid, I framed it, and my science students presented it for the little science #museum of the school. This educational aid was much appreciated by educators visiting the science museum of the school.

Some time to implement my creative ideas for teaching science, I helped students to make chemical structure of DNA with thumb nails. The same students made it very fondly. It was presented to our #science museum by my science students on #science day celebrations.

On our # Republic Day celebration, with my creative habit of thinking with the help of my students, we made the #indian flag with orange peel, raw lemon peel (green)and peel of garlic(white colours). Our principal madam said "Sukarma in your leadership of #creative ideas, your sincere science students always surprise the whole school. We are proud of you and #your sincere students. Your science students are #inspiration for all school students. " My science students thanked #principal madam for her appreciation. I also thanked my #principal, Madam, and my sincere science students for helping and encouraging us in #small creative science projects. "

Grandparents are Treasure to Family.

My #grandparents used to live with us(our parents and we grandchildren).

It was such a joy when # grandparents were around. My grandmother used to make lovely #dishes for us. Both my parents were working, and their workplace was far from our house. We never faced the issue of being alone in the house. All sorts of odd jobs my grandparents used to do for us, and were prompt in attending to any tricky situations for us with great care and love.

My grandfather taught us multiplication table from 2 to 20. All difficult maths problems, my grandfather will teach us a trick to  handle them. Our maths teacher at school was surprised by how you guys grasp difficult problems so fast. We told our friends and teachers that all this is possible because of timely help of our grandparents. For co-curricular activities like hockey coaching, music, etc, both my grandparents were particular and very fondly will take us for the same activities. Their rich experience in every field of life saved us many times from wrong doing. When our friends used to visit our house, they would teach them all activities with the same love and care.

This gave us training on how to be so much in love with one's mate. My friends were also fond of our grandparents. Sometimes they(grandparents) will be away for a few days. We used to miss them. All English spelling rehearsal, we will become weak and look for my grandparents' return date.

My parents were so relaxed about us when grandparents were there. We always wished that they always remain with us. As we grew older, my grandparents were quite #old but young at #heart to give us new ideas for our day-to-day #activities. They will do prayer every day in #morning and evening. Those Sanskrit #shlokas I remember till today. So much #treasure in the form of knowledge and  good habit formation they have gifted us that we can never forget our angel grandparents at any point in our life.

Moral -Never disrespect  your grandparents . They are back bone of your personality. Their contribution  to your life, you will realise with time  as you grow old.

Misconception

I am a science teacher in a government school. I happen to get #opportunity to listen to the personal problems of our students, and if I feel to correct my students # misconceptions, I do it also if my busy schedule #permits.

Many students in my school have #misconception, and they say, "Madam! If we have a refrigerator at home, our family life will be smooth. I say, "Friends some sometimes #refrigerator can bring health problems also. Some people cook extra food and keep eating stale food. This is not good for health. If one does not have #refrigerator at home, one has a greater chance of eating fresh #cooked food.d"

Other misconception -my female students often tell me "Madam since I don't have #washing machine at home so I have to give good amount of my personal time in washing my clothes manually. I very humbly reply to my girl students "friends if one washes clothes manually, one gets chance of exercising one's arm and hand muscles which is must for body. Washing with hands saves a lot of water and helps in #sustainability of the environment. "

These arguments mentioned above may look like #small part of one's life, but #cumulative effects of the same give #big returns to one's life.

Moral - it is good to take the help of #technology in day-to-day life. But at the same time, if sometimes in one #week we do the same work #manually, it is going to be #beneficial for the person and #sustainability of the environment.

Light Approach to Life

I am a science teacher in government school. Many students ask me, "What can we do to #nourish a light #approach to life. " I say," Dear student to do that #remember not to take your thoughts too seriously. Please note that the  #world in which you are growing is temporary, not #permanent, and therefore, to remain serious will not give you any #gains. There's a lot of room in life for ₹₹day-dreaming and trust."

I further say," In some way or other, we’ll always be little kids, because we know so little about our #existence and there's always room for #development and positivity. "Students I sincerely advise you"Try #laughing more, sing your #favorite songs, dance in your style, more like no one is watching you, make beautiful stories, go around the world without judging it and remember to do simple foolish activities like #child that don't hurt anyone, such as taking #rain bath with clothes on but with #bare foots. Please, for #simplicity, purity and #innocence,  remain busy and #positive. Please build the ability to laugh for no reason.

Appreciating Creativity

My student Rekha was # scientist in a national lab. Somehow, she was not able to appreciate her working role in the lab. Rekha was a creative person. Rekha pursued higher education and completed a Ph.D while working in a lab. She resigned from her lab position and joined as #college teacher in a reputed college.

Rekha enjoyed teaching in college. She was keen to inculcate #scientific aptitude in her students. For that, she will apply for small grants from DST and guide students to execute the same. Many students worked in their extra time as they had a big drive to acquire science knowledge. That gave Rekha a lot of happiness and satisfaction.

In tinkering lab of college. Rekha will work in that lab with students who have a passion for the arts. From broken test tubes, boiling tubes, #funnels and coloured liquids like potassium permanganate (dark purple), potassium dichromate(orange)  (aqueous solution), she will persuade students to make three-dimensional models of chemical molecules. Many students used to visit her lab to appreciate how broken #chemistry lab small apparatus can make such beautiful, creative educational aids.

Students always waited for their #slots to work in the lab. She will display all such creations under #STEAM projects. It was big fun and satisfaction for Rekha. Her science #pursuit through STEAM was joy for her. For her creative adventures, she was famous in college.

One day on the phone, Rekha said, "Madam, why have my close friends stopped talking to me? I am confused".

I said, "Rekha, people love you when you are average. I further said, "This shows you are moving forward in your #pursuit. Therefore, Rekha, please carry on your work. "

Moral -Always appreciate one's #creativity and hard work. Feeling Jealous is not a solution. Acceptance of others #talent and success make one strong and #wise.

Son: mom!nature wishes to equalise

 growth of every species uniform

mom:Therefore sometimes

 it sends floods as equiliser

Son:Mom! in one sense death is also equaliser

Mom:Son! you know sublect Science ,

also functions as a powerful equalizer,

Son : Science provides a one unique

objective to understand the world,

Mom : Son !time and compassion are two humanity  equaliser

Water, education, subject science and death are other four formats of equaliser

Son : We must respect each equaliser  with deep gratitude.

Mom : Son ! accepting all formats of equaliser ,

Is signature of  happiness and peace

Son:Peace and happiness is nothing but (pH).

Mom: Son! Concept of pH is so much important in understanding equaliser.

Son: Mom! equalisers; ensure humans should peep into shared limitations and opportunities, of resources

Son :Mom!exactly therefore compassion is deepest ,

Form of equaliser,

Son: Yes mom! compassion make one confident, wise and peaceful.

Mom :Time, compassion death, education, science and water are six different  fomats of equalizer
