Micro Green

I am your #micro green. Do you recognize me said little #seed. I am #special in sense that if it is #cold out side you can #grow crop of my #sprout -micro green.

I am your # microgreen. Do you recognize me said little #seed. I am #special in the sense that if it is #cold outside, you can #grow a crop of my #sprout -micro green.

You may be wondering what #sprout is.

I am led with #hidden treasure. If you supply me with little # moisture, warmth and #air and of course little #care, I will #swell in your tray with joy, and I will become #sprout with root and shoot. My shoot can be lengthened by a few cm. I am packed with life #vital force and am full of protein, fiber and #antioxidants.

With simple #rewarding efforts, one can put a handful of #soaked (12hours)seeds in a #clean jar and keep them for 8-10 hours. Cover the jar with a #muslim cloth. Keep the jar in #cool, dry place where direct #sunlight does not come. Within a few hours, one can see #sprout shoot coming out. After a full day, #sprout shoot length will increase, and the jar will be full of long fr, fresh #healthy #nutritious sprouts.

Friends since sprouts are full of #minerals, they contribute to the #health and well-being of humans.

I use moong #sprouts in making #idly, poha, upma, #stuffed paranthas. Children love it. My #western friends are so fond of my stir-fried moong sprouts. The same I spread on #stale roti to make cost cost-effective, healthy breakfast.

Moral of story-To make cost-effective healthy food, one should make #maximum use of #sprouts of different types of beans in food .

Cleaning Mind

I am a science teacher in a government school. Every year in our school we cel Cleanliness Week. It's fun, and children do this activity with all sincerity.

In my extracurricular activity class, I thought I should give students a new dimension of the same.

I said, "Friends' cleanliness is something near to God. As we have cleaned our school, similarly, it is good to declutter our home. This activity gives new spaces in the home that can be utilized for good activities for children. Decluttering gives us positive energy. On the same wavelength, we should declutter our minds also. The only way to do is to work toward building att attitude of forgiveness toward everyone. To build a calm mind best activity is to meditate every day for a while. Meditation makes the mind peaceful and strong. It gives everyone energy to build a positive attitude in life.

Accepting Change

Life is a roller coaster. Life is not a linear process. It is a # non-linear process. There are ups and downs in everyone's life. Associated with ups and downs is change.

My friend Gita was #expecting her first child she was scared of #physical changes in her body. I said, "Gita, please consider this change happily, as this is for your good only. You are going to have your own family. Children are a bundle of joy. So please #embrace this change, and don't feel threatened. " I suggested Gita take a nutritious diet. Go for a walk daily. This is a must for making this change comfortable ".

Another friend, Namrta, happened to get married in a different city. She was hesitant that she might not get a job in that city. I said," Namrata #change is a must in life. Be positive about #change. #Change is a learning opportunity."

To Namrata's surprise, in the new city she got a better job than her previous one, and it was much near to her house. She was so happy because with a baby to take care of at home changed her a lot. It saved her a lot of energy and money. During lunch time, she could come home and see her baby. She could attend to her baby's small needs.

Namrata said, "Sukarma! You were right, one should not be afraid of #change in life. See, as per your advice, I embraced #change with a positive attitude. That has made me strong and wise, and to some extent, there is an increase in my wisdom of day-to-day life".

Moral - #change is there in everyone's life in one form or another. It can be physical, emotional and financial. The best is to embrace it. #Learn from it. That is going to contribute positively to one's personality.

Yelling at kids

I teach in govt school. One day, I was going home on the #metro train, and I met my old student Ankita in #train.

My friend was looking very #tense. I asked her the reason for her being so tense. She said, "Madam, my son is 5 years old. Every #morning, he makes so much fuss about going to #school. It is time for me to make breakfast. Due to #frustration of work and other factors contributing, I #yell at him. That makes me sad".

I said, "Ankita yelling at kids is not a respected #parenting technique.#Patience is key. Please maintain your #calm. Instead of yelling, if you try to #convince your son that please be #prompt, otherwise you will miss the school bus. #Yelling is a short-term goal. Making children understand the urgency of #situation in a calm atmosphere has a long-term #impact on children. Please practice #meditation to become a calm parent. I request you, Ankita, please be patient with your son when you are giving #toilet training. Ankita's small children's nervous system is sensitive, therefore #yelling may have a bad impact on the child.

Moral of the story- yelling is not a good technique for #parenting. It is considered to be #destructive for the child. Better is to show #patience while teaching good #manners to #kids.

Philosophy of Ikigai

I am a teacher in school. In our extra-curricular class, the school invited Mr. Ikigami. He was #visitor to our school. He was on #mission to collect data for STEM projects of the government school in India.

Mr Ikigami talked to students about the #ikigai philosophy. He said the ikigai belief is an open-minded attitude towards life. Ikigai philosophy directs one to show #empathy toward oneself, others and to anything which exist on earth (parks, trees, museums, rivers, oceans, animals, etc.) Ikigai believes that one who #enjoys and respects small things is sure to go up in #ladder in life.

Ikigai believes in #respecting the experience of elders and, of course, elders. #Elders believe in the complete transfer of #values to the younger. That is the reason that in Japan, in cities and societies, people are happy, and the happiness quotient among #citizens is high. This is the reason people in Japan have a happy #long life.

In conclusion, Mr Ikigami said, "Ikigai can be considered to have circles of love, passion, #mission, knowledge, #duties, values, profession and #vocation. Ikigai is a big overlap of above mentioned circles. "

Our principal madam thanked Mr Ikigami for giving a wonderful talk about ikigai and said," By practicing #powerful philosophy of ikigai, every individual indirectly is dedicating to the mighty #unconditionally."

U Turn in Life

I am a science teacher at school. Students come from different backgrounds. Some students come to school in their own vehicles, and some come in public transport.

Some of these teenage students sometimes feel #inferior to other students as they are not able to perform well in # academics compared to other students.

I say "Students, please work hard and never have superiority or inferiority complex at any stage in life. A friend's life is like a parade, when there is a command of U-turn, the first person in the queue becomes the last person. Please have faith in yourself and keep #working continuously ".

Many of my students have agreed to my suggestions and have done very well in life.

Moral of the story

Life is uncertain and unpredictable and #non-linear in nature. Consistent, honest, and hard work always help in handling every problem of life.

Weight on Heart

I am a science teacher in a government school. Many of my students are not disciplined in their #eating habits. They believe in eating from #outside more; therefore, they face many challenges in life.

To educate those students, I wrote a small piece to educate same, "If we improve, we can improve the world around'

Same, I am listing below for my esteemed readers

We are all trying to #peep into the bad habits of each other, but nobody is worried to peep for one's bad habits. Every one wants a positive change in the world, but no one is ready to bring positive change in oneself. Everyone is busy educating others, but no one is ready to educate oneself. No one is ready to acknowledge that if one improves, then only the world will improve.

Moral of the story -If somehow "one's weight has increased, please restrict the diet and concentrate on proper exercise".If somehow the weight on the heart has increased, please meditate."
