Home Maker Scientist

My mom is a brilliant homemaker,

She thinks like a scientist,

She keenly  observes animal earth and sky,

She asks good questions to me, wondering,

how and what and why,

she makes smart guesses,

hypothesizing what might happen and when.

She does cool experiments,

Also while cooking and housekeeping,

Sometimes she tests,

My scientific knowledge,

 Also by asking many,

Smart questions to me,

 Which makes me think deeply,

That also clears my fundamentals about life.

She makes the best,

 Use of a smart smartphone,

She records pictures of nature,

And cooking procedures,

She thinks all through that,

She has done in a day,

Concluding what she should have done,

Wondering, asking, trusting and concluding;

Is a way of her simple and graceful life,

This is what scientists also do.

My mother tells me,

If you want to be a woman scientist,

You must do what I do,

I ask myself why my mother,

 Is called just a homemaker,

Doesn’t she deserve,

 The title of scientist-home maker?
