Letting go

 Found this so beautiful 🌹

Letting Go: The Grace in Accepting Change

There was a time when we believed we had control over everything—our days, our children, our careers, even the direction of life itself. We planned carefully, held tight to dreams, routines, people. And perhaps that was needed then. Life asked us to build, to care, to lead, to protect.

But slowly, life shifts.

One by one, the things we held so tightly start slipping away—not always with pain, but sometimes with quiet dignity.

The children grow up and move away—not out of disregard, but because they must build their own lives.

Beloved homes are sold, not because they weren't cherished, but because climbing those stairs became harder.

Our roles—as manager, mother, engineer, teacher—fade into the background, like names written in soft sand.

And then, there is a moment—a quiet afternoon, perhaps—when we look around and realise: life has changed.

The people we used to call every day now send messages. The faces around us are new. Even our own reflection carries gentle lines we never noticed forming.

But instead of grief, something else begins to settle in.

A kind of peace.

We understand, slowly, that letting go is not about losing. It’s about making room—for stillness, for peace, for reflection.

Letting go means allowing our hearts to carry memories without chains.

It means accepting that we are no longer the centre of the world—but we are still part of it, deeply and beautifully.

Letting go is not weakness. It is grace—the grace of the river that flows forward, not resisting the rocks, but dancing around them.

It is in these years—when the world becomes quieter—that we learn the true strength of acceptance.

We hold less, but we feel more.

We chase less, but we appreciate more.

We speak less, but what we say carries depth.

And so we sit by the window, sip our tea, and smile—not because life was perfect, but because we lived, we loved, and we let go… with grace.

I am listing  my poem 'Let go Life With Grace" below for my esteem readers.

Let go  Life With Grace

In age young in life ,

When we were studying STEM,

We had Our roles,

As manager, mother,

 Engineer, teacher and home makers,

Life asked us to build,

To care, to lead, to protect.

But with time, slowly

life shifts.like sand in our fist,

One by one,

The things we held so tightly ,

Start slipping away,

Not  with pain always,

 But sometimes with quiet dignity.

Our Children started,

Having their ambitions,

 Their own lives. they built,

Hence they drove away from  the parents ,

Big houses are no longer cherished ,

Our roles—as manager, mother,

engineer, teacher and home maker,

In background got drifted away.

A kind of peace begins to settle in life,

There are quiet afternoons in labs,

We start understanding, slowly,

We are not losing,

Our hard core identity,

We have just accepted,

 Somewhere process of letting go,

We are holding less,

but we are feeling more.

We are chasing less,

But we are appreciating more.

Science  and its applications,

We are speaking less,

but what we say carries depth.

Friends let us, sip our tea,

and smile with grace,

not because our life was perfect,

But because we lived, we loved  ,

We did something positive ,

With STEM training   ,

For nation and for society,

and gradually we are letting ,

go our life with grace.

Everyday is Beautiful

Ruby aunty was my neighbor. She was a teacher in a primary school. Unfortunately, she lost her husband at a young age. She had five daughters to support. She was very courageous. I observed she would work hard on her daughters so that one day they could be on their feet.

Unfortunately, I lost contact in between with her for about ten years. After a decade, I was so happy to meet her. She was as strong as she was ten years ago. Two of her daughters were married and doing very well in life. Ruby aunty did not forget to talk about her past hard days. She was hopeful that things would be positive for her and her daughters in the coming days. I was so happy that Ruby aunty is keeping her past intact with her and learning from her past. She also had hope of having a good future for herself and her family.

While talking to Ruby aunty, I found how wonderfully she is still in contact with people who helped her in the past and who are helping her in the present. Her energy levels made me salute her. She was an efficient manager of her life. Her social skills are excellent there fore her every day is beautiful.

Professional Courses to Join

One day, I was talking to my student at the #metro stationwhile going back from school to home. The student was very much confused. He asked me, "Wherever I go, many of my friends always discuss which academic orprofessional courses we should try to get into to make largeamount of money in the shortest time."I replied, See, dear student, earning money can be through

two channels

1. One gives one's services and in return gets paid.

2. One sells some material goods to others and, inreturn, gets money.

Earning in any way with honesty demands a lot of hard workand dedication.

Some #young minds may think of cheaper ways of earning fast money. For sure, my student, those ways may #fascinate one, but in the real sense, one can be behind bars one dayor another.

It is okay, one may earn less. But money earned in #legal way with honesty is best. Never think that job X is not suited because society thinks a particular job is very low. This is notright. One should lay hands on that particular job, where one feels #comfortable. That job in particular gives oneA lot of #satisfaction and one has the potential to expand one's job.

Moral of the Story: One should always follow one's passion Sincerely, money itself will flow.

Aging with Grace

Son - Mom! As you are getting old I am observing you are becoming #rich in various experiences.

Mom- yes son! I am becoming rich in other dimensions also. See dear! I have got #silver(precious metal) hair.

Son- yes mom! I do notice your tooth is covered with #golden ( precious metal) metal.

Mom- son! Do you know my blood is rich in #sugar also?

Son -oh I see Mom! You are diabetic now. You are taking medicines to control your blood sugar levels.

Mom- I have grown rich in #stones also.

Son – I know the other day you showed me small stones which the surgeon has taken out from #kidney.

Mom- son! They are not precious #stones.

Son- Mom! You are amazing. You explained all physical changes in your body with the help of appropriate #metaphors.

Mom -yes son! To make you understand all the changes I am going through at this old age I have put appropriate #analogy for each change.

Son -Mom! You are great. You are rich in experience, and rich in expressing emotions with appropriate analogy.

Mom -dear son! As a person gets old there are changes in the color of hair, the shapes of teeth, # the chemistry of blood, and the functioning of important #organs of the body.

Son-mom! doctors also recommend checking each of above mentioned changes in the body in the technical #laboratory.

Mom – son I have been doing so now and then. I am thankful to the almighty for these important indicators which help me to age gracefully

The Perfect Song in Making

In my life, there are times,

 Which leave deep scars,

In my heart.

On the canvas of my life,

In the Time domain,

 There are moments #broken,

Deep memories, painful and scattered.

I pray to God,

And request him very humbly,

Not to be angry with me,

 I further say God,

 Please do not give me,

 Difficult  examination,

To test my #wisdom,

 And understanding.

I feel pain is a process,  a never ending.

But with  his gentle touch of healing,

 Inside some how process,

 Of pain and misery,

 Start closing.

How did it happen?

As a student of chemical physics,

I name it as effects #quantum,

 A process of  pain,

It's nothing but a strong song

My life in making is going on.

God has mysterious plans,

 His ways of giving quantum,

 Effects are  straight and evident,

They start showing,

As if my prayers are being answered.

I am convinced when pains,

 Are being encountered,

 In my life,

It is   nothing but time,

When a perfect #melodious strong song,

 Of my life in making,

 Is ongoing.

Friends, please do not feel,

Scared of process pain,

 Just have patience,

You will find the results positive,

 Through quantum effects,

 of process pain.

Good Thoughts

I was going for an invited talk to another school. My brain was busy and full of many different types of #thoughts.I hope my #thought goes well n my presentation .I hope questions asked in end by audience are good.

Some times I feel there are #messengers sent out by my mind which are my #thoughts, they shape my actions and deeds by which I #structure my life.

I  remembered my mother,  she used to say give your #thoughts a right  food.Always be #positive in your thinking.Be creative in your #thoughts. Wonderful things will follow from same.Since you are the one responsible for your #thoughts therefore always be simple and remain #honest with them.

Thoughts build your fate.In epic# Mahabharata warrior Arjuna was hesitant to fight as his train of #thoughts used to warm him"Arjuna how can you fight and kill your dear and near ones in fight".But on other hand lord Krishna's #thoughts were different.Krishna preached Arjuna and said"Dear Arjuna you are fighting for #dharma which is first duty to society and humanity."Arjuna's thought and Lord Krishna's thoughts shaped their #characters in epic Mahabharta.

To become good public #speaker or brilliant teacher one must organize one's #thoughts. One can make place and glory  in one's society through one's pure #thoughts.

Moral-Good #thoughts are one's best friends.Never betray them.

Examples of STEM to STEAM

I am #science teacher in a government school. My school principal, Madam, is trying to implement #STEAM discipline into the school. Before the Parents Teacher Association meeting principal said, "Sukarma, please give some real-life examples where #STEM is working #hand in hand with #STEAM."

My submissions were as follows

1.How #civil engineers(STEM) skill goes into designing celebrity #evening gown(STEAM). 2.How bakers beautifully #decorated cakes(STEAM) by knowing basic chemistry(STEM) . 3.How mathematical algorithm(STEM) find use in tik tok(STEAM) showing some lovely #dance performance.

I have used (STEAM) by putting different types of #stale roti pasted with jam, different types of deserts on the #demonstration table to introduce my (STEM )lesson "benefit of #chemistry of stale roti, how it helps #stale roti in becoming #economical breakfast. "

Principal Madam was very happy to know how the interlinking of STEM a nd STEAM can enhance students' understanding of difficult STEM
