ikigai of My Mother

I am a science teacher in a government school. My #mother was a very hard-working, pleasant lady. Morning to evening, she was busy with #family, small and big tasks. Bringing groceries and making food for us -breakfast, lunch and dinner was her everyday task. In between, she was busy #washing our clothes. Every Saturday evening, she was busy making #special snacks for us. She had no friends to #hang around. Sunday morning was time for her to go to #temple. She used to check if we had #done our homework. In fact, she would find joy in #every activity. Those times, there was no concept of kity parties.

Now I find how come she  could do so many duties without complaints. Now I can say my mother was practicing Ikigai in the real sense of the word. Now she is no more, but her good doings are still an inspiration for me when I am also a mother. I wish to practice the same extent of Ikigai as my mother, but I know I am nowhere near her. My mother is my role model.
