People will Respect you

I am a school teacher in school. Ratan was one of my good, #sharp and hardworking students. He was very good at maths. Unfortunately, his #communication skills in #english were poor. His communication in Hindi was good. He knew his this #limitation. But despite my request. Ratan was not able to #improve his English communication skills. When students from other schools used to come for some competition etc. to our school. Ratan was not able to #impress them, therefore he was left behind in the #core circle of #bright students by his friends.

Ratan somehow understood the game. He stopped #chasing his friends (students of his school). He started # participating in programming competitions. Held at the district level. He learned C plus (programming language)by himself. He started winning those competitions. Gradually students started realising his #worth. Students who used to #ignore Ratan now started #respecting him.

One day Raten came to my class and informed me about his achievement in the competition. I was very happy for him.

Ratan said "Madam biggest #achievement for me is because of this I am being respected by my friends. They have #accepted me now as part of their group."
I said "Ratan I am happy for you. You are working on your skills. Your friends now include you in your circle."
Moral: The best is to stop chasing people, instead work on your skills

People Who Left Scar on you

I am a science teacher in a government school. I had a very good student Rakesh in my class. He always wanted to clear the #JEE examination. He was a bright student. He used to get reasonably good marks in Physics,  Chemistry and Mathematics. I was sure he would clear JEE with #flying colors.

Somehow it so happened  Rakesh was not able to clear JEE with a good rank. He was not happy. His family was #disappointed. Social pressures were very much on him and his family.  I was sad for him.

After four years students told me "Madam Rakesh is doing very well in his # career. I wrote a mail to Rakesh expressing  my #happiness  for his career success."

Once Rakesh came to my house. He  said, " I want to give some lessons to people who had put #scar on my #heart when I could not clear JEE with good rank."

I said "Dear Rakesh you are doing so good in life. People who gave a scar to your heart will see #themselves,  you are living a better life than them. Please do not #waste time on them. Dear student we live life once only. It is for people who gave you scars to see they have lost. Let them know they #helped you in a good way"

Moral- Be careful with your words. Harsh and negative words can haunt some people.

Talk with old Diya

Last night I was sleeping after celebrating Deepawli. One old diya came and said" Madam please instruct your helper to collect us (old diyas)with respect. Madam, very humbly I wish to tell you that all diyas who are no longer giving light to you now have made a big sacrifice, in the sense we destroyed ourselves and gave light in the whole big house.

Diya further said, "Madam you bought gold jewelry on Diwali." Madam I know one humble old lady, who bought a sewing machine this Diwali instead of gold, she is stitching dreams for the next Diwali. Everyone exchanged old notes on Diwali,  Respected old ladies (like us old Diyas) sacrificed and changed their old wishes also. She is no more chasing her dreams and wishes which she had knitted in her dreams when she was young."

Diya further said "Old lady has also decreased some of her passions in life. She prays to Goddess Laxmi and says It's OK for me if you don't  shower rain of money to everyone  but dear Laxmi please provide food to everyone on this festival of Diwali."

Diya continued its conversation  and  said "Madam old is gold"

I said "respected old Diya we respect and salute you for all your kindness. Thanks for educating me. Your teaching and your bright intense light on the pious festival of Diwali is treasure  for me."

Suddenly  I realized it was time to go to school. I had a lovely dream, which I am not able to forget.

In the evening, every day I pray to God and light a small diya in my small #temple which enlightens my #soul. At this time sweet memory of old Diya and the lovely story of respected old lady #touches my soul.

Moral - Always respect people/things who have given you #services at the right time in your life.

Boundries for Gratitude expeession

My friend Ritu  teaches history in my school. It takes her 2hrs to travel from home to school. Therefore she has to start from home  early morning (5am) to reach school in time.

Her father is retired government servant and does not keep good health . Her father gets up around 7am in morning. Therefore Ritu is never able to #greet her father in morning except sunday or school holiday.

After her school, Ritu is busy teaching in coaching #academy near to her school, so by the time she reaches home her father has gone to sleep.

Ritu respects her father very much and out of affection and respect always wishes to greet her father in morning and evening. But her wishful thinking remains #incomplete.

On the other hand due to her late evening schedule she reaches home late at night. She does not want to disturb her respected father when he has gone to sleep. So to avoid inconvenience  to her father Ritu has put limits/ #boundries in format of showing her #gratitude/affection to her dear father. She greets her father in morning either on sundays or school holidays.

Whenever Ritu buys any sari/ gold ornament for her dear mother, insted of being happy her mother gets #disturbed.

Ritu’s mother says” dear Ritu please do not spend any money on my #gifts. Please save money, I have to get you married to suitable boy. I need money for same”

Ritu does not want to hurt her mother therefore she has stopped buying #expensive gifts for her dear mother.

This is nothing but other #format of boundry for showing affection to her dear mother.

Both cases of showing affection/ gratitude to dear ones #discussed above sometimes put person who wishes to express gratitude under boundaries.

My personal experience also says same. On observing boundries in love and gratitude expression format formed by concerned person is helpful tool to lead #peaceful life.

Moral- showing appreciation to parents through both words and actions can strengthen the bond between parents and children.

Creativity opens mind

The other day I was talking to my old students. One student asked, "Madam which is the most valuable quality  of a good teacher."?

I said, "Creativity is the most valuable quality of a good teacher."

Rajesh said, "Yes madam the tendency to generate  ideas useful in problem-solving and communication with others is a big positive point of a good teacher."

I said" Dear student good teachers put creativity into transforming their ideas imagination and dreams into reality. "

I further said "Dear students our district organizes many educational workshops and conferences for teachers and students. Students of classes eleven and twelve avoid attending educational conferences. They have the pressure of academic curriculum on them. They think attending the educational  conferences  and workshops is a waste of time."

I further said " Friends I agree students have pressure on them to learn subjects like physics, chemistry and mathematics as they wish to appear for JEE. But attending educational workshops gives them #opportunities to learn new ideas for creative activities which make their analytical power #strong."

One student said "Yes madam creativity comes from mixing different #ideas. That's why new ideas often come from meeting diverse groups. This type of platform where students come from diverse backgrounds is only possible in conferences.   Therefore we must take opportunity and develop our creativity skills. This will help us in the long run of life for achieving higher goals in #professional -personal life.

I said, " Friends even true #democracy also works where people from diverse backgrounds come together and try to develop #national policies which are good for the country."

Moral -Opinions taken from diverse groups always give the best results. As there is creativity beneath every #thought.

Mother Lonely Journey

I Am a science teacher in a government school.

We all agree that being a mother is challenging. There is no manual or one-size-fits-all approach. Every day she faces a new set of problems. Many times she is on a lonely journey. Despite all the difficulties mothers face in their lives still, they give so much support to all members of family.

I was very close to my mother. I used to say " Mom  more than half of your life is going in waiting. Waiting for children to come back from school/ college. Waiting for husband to come back from office. At night waiting for all family members to serve them hot food. Waiting for help at home to get things done in the right way. Sometimes mom you work in isolation also."

Mom used to smile and say" Patience is success in life. You may see my life as a slow one. But for me my life is peaceful. It is the way you look at things."

Now that I am a mother, I do realize, that by waiting for big and small activities of the family my mom was creating a good environment for my father and us(children ) which helped us our entire lives. Mothers are the heartbeat of the family. Mothers support family silently.

When now I go back in time I realize my mother taught me all ethics, morality, and social responsibility. She shaped my character and prepared me to face the coming challenges of life. Now I come to know sometimes motherhood is a lonely journey. But mothers are Angels. Even in their lonely journey, they contribute maximum to the well-being of the family.

My mother encourages me to learn, explore new ideas, and pursue my interests.

My mother was my role model. Strong empathy, kindness, and compassion in her behavior taught me the same values in life.

I often say  "Dear students, the heartbeat is not visible, but the right number of heartbeats per unit of time supports life silently. Same way mother's silent support in life is so big that you can't explain the same in words.".

Love Hate Mathematics

One day I sent message to my grand children "Love =Tree and Hate = Electricity"

Other day my grand daughter said "Dadi while I was walking back to my class after assembly some how I was being pushed by some one.I at once remembered  you  Dadi, you always say never feel scared and do not leave opportunity of planting trees and spreading love."
Other day my grandson said "Nani one of my class mate said please stop talking to person x , he is no good. I at once remembered you  nani. You always say hate is like Electricity .I  said I will not act like electrical shock to my friend x."
I got so impressed  that my grandchildren  are keen follower of my quote
Love = Tree
Hate= Electricity
Simple but powerful formula to lead happy peaceful life.
Are you spreading love as tree.If yes please  keep doing
