Observing and absorbing

 I teach science in Government school.

My student Radha is in habit of noticing the world around her and does not let it affect her deep soul. 

My student Mohan believes in helping people in need but he thinks that it is best to try to be independent and not dependent on other person .

 I say to my students " The problem is when you start believing that others problems are yours to solve, or that you need their approval to feel good. " 

My student Gudu says " Madam it’s easy to take in all the emotions and energy around you with view to help others. You start thinking that if you carry enough, you can fix everything. But in doing so, you start to forget where your own needs end and theirs begin.This is an example of difference between observing and absorbing.Friends do not get absorbed in others problems and forget to observe in your own problems." 

 I further say "Dear students remember: your energy is precious and sacred. Take care of it. You have a big heart, but you don’t need to carry everyone’s problems. It’s okay to set boundaries — not just with others, but with yourself. Know when to step back, protect your space, and let go."

 I further added contentsvin discussion and said"Friends please understand there is difference between want and need.There can be situations where you may want some thing but you may not need them." 

Gita said " It’s okay to desire things — a connection, a dream, a future — but know that you are whole with or without them. "

 I said" Students there’s so much in life, and we should look more into the positive things that happens on us.Please observe positive happening in life rather than absorbing into negative happening in life". 

 I further said "Students as you go through life, learn to observe without taking on everything, love without holding too tightly, and move forward while staying true to yourself. You deserve to live fully, not just to survive." 

 Moral -. Observe, but don’t absorb. To observe means being aware and understanding things without letting them deeply affect you. You can love someone without becoming fully dependent on them. To add, loving someone doesn’t mean your self-worth or happiness has to rely on them being in your life. It’s about valuing them for who they are, without letting their absence make you feel empty.

Having a child

  

I am teaching science  in government  school.Other day I met my female student Radha in metro train.

She said "Madam I am blessesd with son"

I congratuated her for same."

I said "Radha having a child is an experience 

like no other and cannot be understood

 unless you’ve gone through the same."

Radha said "No one can speak on behalf of a parent about the experience of kids "

I said "Yes Radha, unless they are a parent themselves."

Radha said "Madam I think life is more fulfilling with children. It’s a whole other dimension that I did not experience while childless. "

I said "Radha true the love that you have for your child is really on another level. "

Radha said " Yes madam the happiness they bring at each stage of parents lives, from newborn to infant to toddler to preschool so far, it’s been truly wonderful."

I said " Children smiles, laughs, little phrases, conversations, it’s priceless at each stage of life ." 

Radha said"Madam I have so many photos and videos of my son  on my phone that I replay over and over that make me smile. "

She further said "My son is a handful, and he is a burst of energy from the moment he wakes up until he sleeps. He’s always running, talking, laughing, jumping, and he’s exhausting, but he’s such a joy to my life. "

I said "Dear Radha don’t get me wrong, having child is  a lot of work, he’s expensive in sense all toys and clothes of small children are very expensive, "

Radha said "I worry about my son, I get a lot less sleep, I have to think twice about travel plans, "

I said "Dear Radha I as teacher sometimes  feel trying to do well in school  duties while having kids sometimes is very difficult as you have to be very disciplined  and help at home should be equally good Sometimesc help at home is very expensive ".

Radha said " Yes madam childcare/extracurricular activities for kids  is EXPENSIVE.But I’ve never regretted one bit of having same for my son."

I said " Radha children are God gift and grace of every family.One should be thankful for having opportunity to experience this part of life that every one wants to have from heart."

Struggle of life

I teach science  in government  school.

Other day I went to cofee shop with my female students.

Sita said "Madam  this.  cafe is  in a busy part of a city and madam thec seats where we are sitting giving us view of people walking past - perhaps a table on the pavement outside.

I said students now  please observe.

What you'll see is hundreds, and, if time permits, thousands, of people, busily walking to their destinations.

Gita said"Madam  Rich, poor, old, young, men, women, boys and girls, they all are not where they want to be, All are trying to get to some place that they do want to be. When they get there they’ll soon want to be somewhere else."

You'll see a struggle on most people's faces.

I said " Yes dear students  that's life. We're all trying to get somewhere we're not. It’s a struggle, which may only ends on the day we leave the world.

Power of Skills

I am science teacher in government school. When I demonstrate science experiment in class my main emphasis is on great power of skill ie observation . 

 Preparation of oxygen in lab is wonderful experiment. Potassium permagante is heated in presence of manganese oxide. And oxygen is collected in gas jar through water displacement. I ask students for observation What is color of potassium permanganate.(answer- dark purple in colour) Why is oxygen collected through water displacement (answer- oxygen is insoluble in water) 

 I make it compulsory for every student to wear eye protection while performing this experiment.

 2nd observation I share with my students is When you do not practice higher maths there is higher chance you get confused my students.Therefore do practice maths everyday without fail. 

3rd observation I share with primary level kids Nature also shows some good signs for observation like yellow leaves falls new leaves come out. Raw fruit ripens with time and changes colour also. 

 4th observation I share with my secondary level kids.When some food decays one get foul smell Another skill which I want my student to concentrate on is power of Deep diving skill I always tell my students "I have observed many times students think by telling lie to their friends about their actual marks they can show other friends they are superior. But if they do deep diving they will soon realise with time that being dishonest with themselves they are disturbing their soul. Fact is that any way truth will come out in open.One can't hide it any more." 

Deep diving power skill is used by police officers.They cross examine each case of crime through many angles.For each angle they dive deep to earth to find truth of happening.While delving deeply into topics can be time-consuming and challenging, it is undoubtedly a key to success. 

Power of connecting the dots: When I learnt making vegetable rice, my mother instructed me to put turmeric along with rice while cooking them. But for cooking lemon rice my mother instructed me first boil rice separately.Then in those rice put turmeric and lemon,on mixing two, later on the bright golden yellow colour will appear. I observed in preparing lemon rice yellow colour appeared is golden yellow, is different than colour yellow of vegetable rice.These two observation got stuck into my mind.Why colour of two types of rice is different. I connected the dots through previous rice cooking experience. When lemon juice is added to turmeric, a chemical reaction occurs that changes the color of the turmeric from dirty yellow to bright gold yellow. I found following Explanation Turmeric is a natural indicator that changes color based on the pH level of a solution. Turmeric contains curcumin, a chemical that is yellow in acidic or neutral solutions, but turns red in basic solutions. Lemon juice is acidic, so it changes the color of turmeric to yellow.) I explained same to students.

 Moral - observation, connecting dots and deep diving are three important skills students should concentrate.

Boundries in Format of Gratitude

My friend Ritu teaches history in my school. It takes her 2hrs to travel from home to school.

 Therefore Ritu has to start from home early morning (5am) to reach school in time. Her father is retired government servant and does not keep good health . Her father gets up around 7am in morning. Therefore Ritu is never able to #greet her father in morning except sunday or school holiday. 

 After her school, Ritu is busy teaching in coaching #academy near to her school, so by the time she reaches home her father has gone to sleep. Ritu respects her father very much and out of affection always wishes to greet her father in morning. But her wishful thinking remains incomplete. 

 On the other hand due to her late evening schedule she reaches home late at night. She does not want to disturb her respected father when he has gone to sleep. So to avoid inconvenience to her father Ritu has put limits/ boundries in format of showing her gratitude/affection to her dear father. She greets her father in morning either on sundays or school holidays.

 Other format of boundry Ritu has put for showing gratitude to her dear mother. Whenever Ritu buys any sari/ gold ornament for her dear mother, instead of being happy her mother gets disturbed. Ritu's mother says" Dear Ritu please do not spend any money on my gifts. Please save money, I have to get you married to suitable boy. 

Ritu I need money for you to get married." Taking her mother's anxiety into considerations, Ritu has made her own boundary for expressing gratitude/affection to her dear mother. 

Ritu avoids buying costly gifts for her mother. She buys fruits and eatables of her mother's choice for her mother on her birthday. She does not want to see her mother getting anxious because of so called expensive gifts from her daughter(Ritu).

 Both cases discussed above of showing affection/ gratitude to dear ones discussed above sometimes put person who wishes to express gratitude under boundaries. 

 My personal experience also says same. On observing boundries in love and gratitude expression format formed by concerned person is helpful tool to lead peaceful life.

YOGA Class

I am science teacher in government school. At night in my dream came gentelman "Yoga". 

I said " gentelman how come you are here in my house at this time.He said "madam you know my name is yoga and it is derived from the Sanskrit word “Yuj” which means to join or unite which in practice means awakening an individual consciousness by the unison of mind and body. " 

 He further said" madam Yoga consists of engaging exercises called asanas or postures and pranayama which includes #breathing exercises." 

 In morning when it was about to go to school. I at once remembered my neighbor Mr. Khurana. Mr Khurana was very #disciplined gentelman. He would get up in morning around 5 a.m. He would take YOGA session for 30 to 40 people in near by park.

 Unique part of that Yoga class was he would not charge a penny from his students. He would use powerful positive words to motivate and inspire his students to do Yoga. For him physical fitness was his #treasure. He was iconic figure for youth around. 

Many young generation persons will come for his Yoga class very fondly. Parents living nearby were grateful to Mr Khurana for inspiring young blood in positive direction. He believed in giving. By conducting Yoga class in morning he was giving his time and #energy to his students. 

 Mr Khurana is good buisness man. He would donate with enthusiasm for cultural and spritual activities of his society. Organisers of social activities will come from far places to Mr. Khurana for financial funds. He will never disappoint them. Because of his giving and humble nature he was very much popular among masses. 

 Mr Khurana was giving his time and love to masses and thereby he was improving so many lives by his #goodness.

 It may look that conducting Yoga classes without charging any fee etc. is not big task. But this small contribution when get summed up from days to years really become big and its results are #amazing. 

 Never underestimate power of positive inspiring words. They can #heal and inspire. Never forget to give. Give your time and give your love when ever or where ever possible. 

There are so many things in life  we can change through this small trick. Other day I shared tricks about doing Yoga every morning with my students in school. I found many students got charged up by my small suggestions about how to do Yoga regularly. Many students got into habit of doing yoga exercises everyday. I  as teacher was so happy for my students practicing yoga exercises every day. 

 Many students were happy about yoga exercises as they could feel their chronic pain has diasappered. It can also enhance sleep quality, increase energy levels, and even support weight management. 

Beyond the physical, yoga can boost immunity and may help with chronic pain Moral : Yoga exercises increase physical fitness, reduces stress and gives mental clarity.

Conference of Dogs

 I live in place where in my neighbour hood many  persons have pet dogs. It so happen,  all my neighbours  have 9-5 job. I am friendly with almost every dog living in my neighbourhood.

Once all dogs living near by decided to have meeting regarding their problems.

Other day I was about to sleep after preparing  my lecture to be taught in class. All dogs gathered  near me and requested me to come with them at middle square of city.

I agreed to their humble request. My all (dog )friends started explaining  their problems one by one in meeting. 

Tomy said "my friends! my owner sometime   tie me  up on terrors of his house and forget to feed me  #properly, I do realise my owner must be having some problems at their hands thatswhy he behaves in such a way. But it is very sad for me being neglected in family.

Dogs leader Biscuit said "You know madam we dogs are not capable of taking care of ourselves without human's help".

Tuki (Dog)  said "Once I was with owner who abandoned me  on a forgotten #road. In that condition I  felt afraid and #lonely. I thought I wish I could find owner  and ask why I was left  behind."   

Leader biscuit  said"we feel sorry for our friends. Madam we dogs are not #property that one can throw away and #forget."

Chikoo(dog) said" madam we dogs are Gods creature.We also have feelings like you.Therefore we dogs expect good food, clean water, a warm bed, and lots of lolovePlease don't abandon us. Don't kick us. Don't leave us when life gets busy. "

Niki(dog) said"Madam I am roaming here and there, actually I live in kennel. Sometimes I get fearful  sitting in kennel and expect that every sound of footsteps I hear from that moment on will be my  owner, coming to find me."

I said " dear  dogs when ever my student/neighbour brings pet dog  at home, I always advise him please, make a commitment from me while your pet(dog) is  alive never abandon him(dog) otherwise dear student/ neighbour  don't bring pet dog in home  ."

I said " Dear  dogs for me you are not just a dog – you are a living, breathing #creature. If person x choose to take dog home, I expect that he /she will give you(dog) the things dog need to be happy and healthy. "

I further  said "Other important issue that must be taken by owner  of pet dog is medical care of pet. He(dog) should have all vaccination in time under guidence of vetinary doctor. All this need time and big heart on part of owner. So what if dogs do not speak as we humans speak, but they also do have emotions. Taking care of dogs emotional health is also big responsibility  of owner."

I soon realized all this episode was sweet dream.I shared the same with my neighbours  ,husband and family.
