An average Person

I am a science teacher in a government school. One student in my class was very much disturbed. He came to me at lunchtime and said, " I am disturbed, madam, as I am an average boy of my class."

I said to my student, "Suppose there are a hundred students in class. Being average means that you are better than 50 students. Suppose you become better than average and #score better marks than 90% of the students in your class. Still, you will find that there are 10 students better than you, and you would again feel #ashamed for being worse than those 10 students of your class."

I further said," There is no end to this #comparison, dear student. I know my friend who is an  #IRS, she is not happy because she had a dream of becoming #IAS. I tell my friend, please remember you are better than those candidates who worked hard for #clearing the IRS but could not do so. I always  request that it is good to #aspire to go high in goals, but it is not going to pay you anything in life if you are not happy with your #present life."

My student said," Madam, you are right. My father says the same thing, but with a different angle. He always tells me to keep working hard with #consistency, you will surely go up. No task is big or small, but be honest with your work. This attitude will give you satisfaction. It is a unique wealth which many people neither  have nor #appreciate the same

I could see a smile on my student's face. I noticed he started remaining happy in his study @circle group. There was much improvement in his #academic performance. "

I, as a teacher, was so so happy for my student, that I could help my student a bit with his life #problems.

Moral - Please find a sense of accomplishment in your right doings, which will give you energy and motivation to work harder and achieve better in the future.Do you also think you are an average person?

Positive Work

I am science  teacher in government  school. Other day I was talking to my students during lunch break in my school.

I said"In India many people  always look for opportunity to #retire from work place or domestic duties. They think this arrangement is going to give them peace and #happiness. I have different point of vew. When you sit #idle  in retired life, some times  it can be challenging. I know many respected retired persons who are wealthy but still involved in work."

I further said "Please do not get impressed by  #YouTube videos where  people teach others how to retire in their 40s, 50s, and 60s, among other age ranges. But my question   to you (my student) is to think seriously for what purpose one should get retired."

Student said"Madam I have interacted with many retired  persons, they wish to contribute to well fare of society but they are not able to find suitable #platform to do so."

I said"Dear student when person gets retired that point in his/her life marks significant  life transition. There is transition  from full time work to period with involvement in hobbies you love to do ".

I further said " Students you will find what I am saying has logic. Always keep yourself #occupied, this will save you from negative thoughts in life. You become positive  and @active in life. Please  enjoy beautiful journey of life. It is OK it can be sometimes hard/easy. Always getting  involved in positive  work take you to different  level  of energy.  Your occupied life  help you forget about other negative things in life. Thus, do not stop doing positive  activities in any stage of life."

Moral- Enjoy journey of life. Therefore try your level best to do some positive  work till last #breath of your life.

Bright Woman Challenges

I am a science teacher in a government school.

Kanta was my #bright student. She got married into a good family. After marriage, she did teaching in a local school. Her husband was away for #higher studies. Kanta wanted to join her husband. The only way Kanta could join her husband was to get #scholarship for higher studies. Her school #principal  and her in-laws' family were not in favour of the same."

Kanta studied hard, and fortunately, she got a full scholarship from the same university where her husband was studying.

Kanta said, "Madam, I was sure if I convey that I got a scholarship for higher studies to my school friends, then my social life in my school circle will be very #difficult. To avoid the same, I told my school family that I have been admitted to my higher education. But I have been awarded with #half scholarship. Half scholarship money my parents  will be paying."

She further said, "Madam, that trick worked like #miracle. Everybody in my school family and my in-laws' family was happy with this arrangement. My social life in my in-laws' family and school family became #good and comfortable. "

I said, " Kanta, I do understand that sometimes woman has to handle challenging situations in life and show their worth #less than what she is to be accepted socially at work workplace and in the family.  Hats off to you, dear! For having such good wisdom, and you reducing jealous feelings towards you in your social circle. God bless you in your academic venture. I am proud  of you."

I felt ashamed of how #bright women are looked down upon, in some parts of society in our country. Are you helping and encouraging woman folk at your house?

Moral- Always try hard to work for your passion, even if you have to face difficult challenges in life.

Poor kid Growing

I was the poor kid growing up in below middle class family. My mom used to send me to birthday parties with no present and gift, just so I could eat. I definitely got to a point where I understood and was embarrassed as hell.I said :"Mom I am not going for any borthday party.

In fifth grade, my friend’s mom invited me to sleep over the night before the actual birthday party. When her daughter was in the shower, the mom laid out the toys that she had bought her daughter for her birthday. She let me pick one to wrap and put my name on.

I’m 37 now. I am still grateful to that mom. That one act made such an impact on me.

Now I am teaching  in school.I say to my students"If you see someone falling behind, walk beside them. If someone is being ignored, find a way to include him/her. If someone has been knocked down, lift hom/her up. Always remind people of their worth. Be who you needed when you were going through hard times."Are you also helping people  at right time in their life.?

Moral -Just one small act of kindness could mean the world to someone.

Each one Plant one.

On Environment Day, we usually plant trees in our school. This year, our school principal, respected madam, said," Students, please realize that when you plant a tree in your garden and with time it grows into a big tree. In a way, you have grown with the tree concerning time. In other words, you have planted yourself in the garden. Every root of that tree is like an anchor for you. It says so many sweet memories associated with it, over which your concept of life rests with grateful interest. Life concerning a planted tree has a strong correlation with you, which give sufficient calm that you feel the joy of living.”

Trees around our #environment are a blessing. We must learn from their helpful attitude. They #help all, and one irrespective of whether one is poor or rich.

They give support to #creepers and travellers around them.

They pass a sweet #smile to everyone as they are not interested in taking # selfies.

They lead a #purposeful life without any pump and #show.

Data collected through different resources has hidden valuable information for solving difficult problems of society.

Recently collected data Shows

Trees per person for the following  countries

  Canda 8953

Russia  4461

Australia 3266

United States  716

China 102

India 28

https://DOI.ORG/10.1038/nature 14967

Humble request to dear respected  Indians, please

Each one, plant one.

Moral-Plant one tree to respect your mother.

Examination Grades and life Experience

I am a science teacher in a government school. Naresh and Rahul, both my students, were very good in #academics. Fortunately, Naresh and Rahul got 99 percent marks in  12th and got admission in a good #medical college in the city.

Naresh was very good in #social skills. He was always interested in making connections with his seniors, friends and students from other schools. His family background also believed in making bridges in #relationships. His two cousin brothers were reputed doctors of the city. His father was also reputed  lawyer of the city.

Rahul was different than Naresh. Rahul never concentrated on his social skills. He never believed in making efforts to be in touch with his seniors and childhood friends.

Naresh and Rahul became good doctors in the city. People had a lot of faith in their line of #treatment for sick #patients. Somehow, the people of the city had more faith in Naresh's methodology of treatment of patients.

Doctor Rahul had his unique way of working. Many people in the city also liked his line of treatment. Naresh and Rahul were good friends. Our school is proud of its #alumni, Dr.Naresh and Dr. Rahul.

Rahul and Naresh were good doctors in the city. Dr Naresh was better at balancing the academic achievement and different life experiences he had in his personal and professional life. Dr Naresh was well well-rounded individual; therefore, he was able to contribute more to the well-being of society. He was good at giving leadership in social projects in society.

It is true methods of working of Dr Naresh and Dr  Rahul are different, but one thing is clear: grades obtained in #examination are not the only measure of values one possesses. Connections, background and practical skills often surpass academic performance.

Moral-Grades obtained in examination can open doors of opportunities. But how one avails those opportunities is entirely in her/his hands. Her/ his background, value system and skills help him/ her in making unique pathways in life.

Are you also availing opportunities available  at hand in life.?

Greater than You Inside You

I was studying in secondary school. My respected #mathematics teacher was teaching us a topic about #relations. She was training us how to compare numbers involving #decimal extensions. In Mathematics class, she also taught and trained us about Algebra #set theory, Relations and functions- ordered pair and mapping of elements of set A to elements of set B.

With knowledge of mathematics, "relation topic" in my subconscious mind, I had a lovely dream at night. The same I am listing below for my respected readers.

I asked my teacher," Madam, I wish to know who the persons are #greater than me?"

The teacher said, "No one is greater than you, and even you are not greater than anyone."

I said, "Teacher, how is this possible? ".

The teacher said, "There is no formal mathematics of greater or less than involved that is applicable in this context. You must realize, dear, you are #unique, my child."

"How can I know that? "I asked the teacher.

The teacher said," You are a perfect reflection of #divine, which is inside you."

Teacher further said, "Never let your mind worry you by #comparing  yourself with others, and please neither you care about the opinions of others, that will only be possible if you never #expect anything from anyone."

I said, "I understand, mada, from now on, words, I will stop worrying about what the world around me is thinking and talking about myself. Sometimes people compare me to many individuals. To know the same teacher, I asked you a simple question."

The Teacher said," When this realization is clear, you go out on your beautiful journey of life gracefully".

In the morning, my alarm bell rang, but it had echoes of the word divine-divine,----

I soon realized it was a dream, but, word divine remained at the back of my #mind.

Now I have grown up and understand the meaning of divine, which always remains in me and guides me on the right path.

Moral-Stop worrying about what people around you are talking about you.
