Strong Window of Home

Every house has strong windows for proper circulation of sunlight and fresh air. Windows safeguard the house in every circumstance.

I tell my students, "You are students of science. You know circular/oval windows disperse pressure along their circumference, reducing the danger of breaking. That is the reason aeroplanes have oval windows. The structure of windows saves passengers  in an aeroplane."

Radha said, " Madam, an efficient homemaker is the window of the family. She structures her personality like a strong window where there are no hard #corners. Her high EQ, IQ and patience make her strong so that there is no pressure or at least little pressure  on her in day-to-day life."

I further said, "Home maker adopts her personality in such a way that every pressure of homemaking gets evenly distributed in the time domain. She is very precise with her finances, also reducing the likelihood of her not cracking under the changing pressures of the home front and work front."

Rakesh said, "Madam good home maker is like an aeroplane window does not have sharp corners in her personality. She strongly works on traits of her personality so that there is no #stress rise. This way she can keep a cordial atmosphere  in the home."

My student  Rita said, "My aunt is a smart homemaker. She teaches in school, too. She has a lot of patience and always keeps a tap on work-life balance through her working style and pleasant personality. Madam, now, if I look back, she is an oval strong window of an aeroplane  which is her home."

Moral -Comparing a Good home maker to an aeroplane oval window is a good teaching example of science, arts writing.

Financial independence over social validation

In this era of science and technology,

When your salary,

In-hand is more reasonable,

But it so happens,

With your Social expectations,

False material standard of living,

You end up spending more,

 You observe your,

Savings are low,

You suffer from

 Dissatisfaction financial.

No point going in cycles,

Of worry and depression.

 Suffering from guilt ,

Of exploiting environment,

The best is to take strong actions,

And follow grandfather's advice,

 Cap your lifestyle inflation,

By avoiding taking debt,

And prioritizing,

 Independence Financial,

  Over validation of social,

For true satisfaction.

Discover your true self,

And show your unique self,

Purposeful strategy of life,

With courage and wisdom to society.

Technique to Process Emotions

I am a science teacher in a government school. I am in charge of the co-curricular activities of the school.

One day, my student  Karan said, "When I face anger, fear or #resentment distress, I get lost. Madam, please guide me on how to handle the same."

I said, "Dear student, I am going to teach this technique. With this technique, you can manage the above-mentioned #emotions. Karan! Please do write with clarity the episode of experienced emotions on a empty paper with your overthoughts. Believe me, Karan, this practice will give you more understanding, and you will come out as a compassionate and mature person. It will improve  your creative writing skills also".

I further said, "Practice this above-described process as a habit, dear student. This process will help you in making your high emotional state come out and bring you peace in your life. I am teaching you this as I practice it very often.  It has helped me in improving my mindset, and the best part is that this practice has improved my relationships in school and at home. You will find your personality  has transferred  to a better one."

Karan said, "With your advice, madam, I practiced this technique. With this technique I was able to describe my feeling as anxious, sad or angry"

Karan further said, "The Question  is what is a healthy way to cope with the negative emotions."

I said, "Answer is Journaling: Writing down your thoughts and feelings can help you process them and gain clarity. With time, you can sometimes  find out the cause of negative emotions."

Karan further said, "Through this technique, Madam, I learnt to practice self-compassion. I treated myself with kindness and understanding, even when I was experiencing difficult emotions."

I further said, "Healthy Ways to cope with negative emotions are journaling: Writing down your thoughts and feelings. This can help you process emotions and gain clarity.'

Karan said, "Madam, this technique helped me in doing physical activity: Exercise was a healthy way to release pent-up energy and emotions."

Moral-Practice of writing privately your positive/negative emotions brings # self-awareness in you and makes you a better person in life.

Beacon for his Students

My science  teacher,

Is my ideal teacher,

When he is present  in the lab,

Or class,

Like an ideal gas,

In the subject Chemistry,

He has an ideal state of mind,

 Immense inner peace.

He indeed faces,

 Many joys and sorrows,

Which softly ran in his heart,

He, with his inner peace,

Makes equilibrium in the same.

He makes us work efficiently,

In the science  lab,

He faces praise and blame alike,

In his life, gain and loss,

Both come and go,

But he is unmoved,

 By fortune's fickle hand,

In awards and monetary benefits.

My favorite teacher,

Has the trait of sthitapragya,

In odd circumstances,

 He takes his firm stand

My friends ask me questions,

 What is the concept sithyapragya,

I say, dear friends,

My teacher is Sithyapragy,

Means he has no craving waves,

Within his heart,

No fear disturbs,

His inner peace of mind,

He sees the world,

With different special eyes,

Where his positive emotions,

 Passions,

And negative  emotion, rage,

 Calmly stays with hiragem

And he finds his peace,

 In countless infinite ways.

He stands detached,

 From external events

Like big science grants,

And the name in the news newspaper,

 Above him,

He makes his best control,

Over his senses,

 He gathers  his scattered,

 Thoughts and embrace all,

With a crystal clear mind,

He is a beacon for his students,

In the fading light.

God bless my teacher,

Pray every day,

We, his students, should also,

Become sithprgay like him,

In the coming days.

Moral-Like ideal gas concept in chemistry. This concept of Sithpragya is prominent in the Bhagavad Gita, where it describes an ideal state of being characterized by inner peace and detachment from worldly fluctuations.

Other day I met my female student Kunti in educational  conference.  Kunti said"Madam teaching profession  is very challenging . In  this digital world every one keeps evaluating one's #successes and #failure  of life. While discussing one's success in life one forgets to concentrate  on present  moments  in life. Same is true  with one's failure in life.  One gets absorbed so much in one's failure one forget to take care of  present in life ."

I said"dear Kunti "success discussion"  and "failure worry" effect one's #future. This is something  very important  which one  realizes very late in life. According  to Hindu epic #Shrimad Bhagvad Gita, it is best to remain stable in #behaviour when you get success  or failure in life. In Sanskrit it is given name of #"Sithpragya"."

Krishna pointed out that Arjuna would be able to realise his true nature only when he became a sthithaprajna. The primary quality of a sthithaprajna is the control of the senses.

Make Life Simpler

I am a science teacher in a government school. I am in charge of co co-curricular activities of my school.

My students had appeared for the #JEE examination-national engineering test. I knew all my students had worked very hard for #clearing  JEE. Yesterday  I got a call from a student that our results (JEE) will come tomorrow. #Anxiety is troubling me a lot.

I said, "Dear student!  Please stop overthinking the same and let #God/nature make its decision. Please do not make any story in your head, that will make your anxiety high."

I further said, "Dear student! Please do not be #obsessive about the situation. Please think about something positive in your mind and maintain calm. Please do not get overinvolved with your emotions. If you do not do so, life will become complicated for you. Your #Emotional quotient(EQ) will be low."

The next day, JEE results were out. Many students had done well. One student said on the phone, "We followed your #mantra and we stepped back from anxiety for some time. We realized it is #simplest thing to follow in life. We are thankful to you, madam, for the same."

I was so, so happy for my students and blessed them from the core of my heart.

Moral: Please do not over #think about any given situation. Best to step #back from those thoughts that create anxiety, for a while. Try it once, you will find life is #simpler at this crossing .

How important is Inner self

I am a science teacher in a government school. I am also in charge of co-curricular activities.

The other day, I met my old student  Radha at an educational conference. Radha said, "Madam, it is very difficult to know #inner self of any person."

I said, "Radha! I will tell you my #observation  from where I got a chance to see the inner self of person  x."

I further said, "I was on a trip to Japan. People of Japan are very cordial. The other day I went to the public library. After doing my self-study assignment, I visited the mall near by library."

I asked a simple question, "Where is the bathroom? to one lady(x). She was busy shopping, and she listened to my question but avoided answering it. After a few steps, I asked the same question to another lady(y) who was standing outside the beauty clinic. She showed me the way to the bathroom by pointing to a figure showing me the direction to the same. I was not clear again, walking a few steps forward, I asked the same question to another lady(z). She had come with her mother to the mall, I suppose. She said to me in Japanese, "Come, I will show you the same." She walked all the way and left me near to bathroom door. I thanked that gentle lady(z) from the core of my heart.

I further said, "Dear Radha, to conclude, I must say the third lady(z)was kind and gentle, I could see her #gentle inner self. The third lady (z) had a helpful #attitude. Her action showed the same. If I were the principal of the school and was asked to choose a teacher for the school, from all three (x,y,z) ladies previously mentioned in my reference. I would have # recruited a third gentle lady(z) as a teacher in my school. Since (z) was emotionally #mature and had trait of helping attitude in her #personality.

I further  said, "Students, please, do observe how someone treats people who cannot benefit them, like cleaners or strangers, can reveal their inherent empathy  character and inner self."

Moral-Sometimes actions taken by a person can reveal his/her inner .

Best Revenge

Hindu epic Mahabharata has many small stories where one side gets involved in a strong ego and believes in taking #revenge on battle battlefield for their personal gains. Taking revenge is #negative emotion, and it starts chain reactions of negative feelings on both sides involved in conflicts.

Some people, due to a negative attitude, indeed try to harm you. Sometimes you get hurt emotionally, sometimes physically too. I agree with the same process, your #ego is hurt, and consequently, negative emotions get into your brain, and you start thinking negatively about how to take revenge for the same.

In this process, instead of moving forward, you are going #backward and remain always in a state of confusion. What to do, how to do. This way, your #concentration on your goal of life gets distracted.

Best to forget about taking revenge and move forward. Consume your precious energy in some positive #karma. Have faith in #almighty, he will not spare a person who is always involved in negative karmas.

The other day student asked a question about Revenge vs. Justice and Dharma

I said, "Dharma's supremacy in the epic The Mahabharata ultimately promotes the concept of dharma, or righteous duty, as the guiding principle."

I further said, " Let us take Pandavas as an example: Pandavas' wife, Draupadi, was insulted by Kauravas. The Pandavas did not seek revenge but rather a restoration of their kingdom through justice, a path that was supported by Krishna and ultimately led to the Kurukshetra War, known as a Dharmayuddha (war for righteousness). "

I further explained, "Dear student, Krishna's role in the epic Mahabharata was very important. Krishna's guidance was instrumental in directing the Pandavas toward a struggle for justice rather than a purely taking revenge."

On a personal basis, in the epic #Mahabharata Pandavas always let go negative karma of their brother Duryodhan. To avoid negative revenge emotions, even though they were ready to settle for five villages instead of the whole nation. But when it became a question of #"Dharma" involving the survival of their country, then Pandvas, with the guidance of lord #Krishna, fought the battle of #Kurukshetra.

Moral -The best is to avoid revenge emotions as far as possible and move forward in life.
