Special Dinner Special Thoughts

I am a science teacher in a government school.

In Indian #marriage dinner which is given in honor of #groom side guests by #bride parents is good. The bride side makes every effort that dinner served on a special night must be excellent so that everyone enjoys each dish served at dinner. Sweet dishes in that dinner have a special place. Sincere efforts are made to serve the best sweets, brought from places where the special sweet dish belongs. #Planning of same is done many days ahead of the marriage date.

In bride side respected seniors have a dream to serve the best possible dishes to the groom's side guest.

With all these efforts, still you will find people guests to wedding #criticizing dishes served at the wedding party. Some guests say undesirable things about dinner. They never realize the gravity of the situation.

The same happened in the marriage of my female student. It so happened father of my student who was getting married heard all criticism about dinner. At that time father of bride had no control over the situation. 

After the marriage of his daughter, the father of bride said “Madam some guests attending the marriage of my daughter have no idea how much effort and money the bride side has spent in #arranging same.”

I felt very sad for my student’s father. Taking a lesson from the same I wish to say ” Please remember it is not good to criticize dishes of dinner served by the bride side on the occasion of marriage. Please realize each dish served in the special dinner has so many sentiments attached . Everyone must give serious thought to this.

To conclude in this exercise of arranging dinner for guests parents of the bride have given so much in terms of time, energy and #money.

If I extrapolate the efforts of the bride side, I can say that the time taken to prepare each dish served for dinner at the wedding sometimes is equivalent to the age of their dear #daughter. The taste of each dish comes on the dinner table when seniors of the bride's side cut so many expenses in their day-to-day life. Dishes served at dinner are nothing but the collective hard work of many people from the bride's side.

Please do consider all points mentioned above, which are food for thought, before criticizing food served at the marriage party. I seriously think that all guests attending the marriage party if avoid negative gossip, that itself be a big contribution to strong relationship bridges.
