Seed Scenery Taylor Series 2

 Seed  Scenery Taylor Series.

I am little seed,

I have no front or back,

I am capable of making beautiful scenery,

When sowed in wet earth,

Hidden in me is plan to build tree beautiful ,

I know where to bend and rise my tree leaves.

It may look mysterious,

I am like a tiny maths book,

The first page says, 'Start here.' That’s the height.

The second page says, 'Grow up this fast.' That’s the slope.

The third page says, 'Now start to bend like this.' That’s the curve.

I am seed,

I do not need to see the whole tree,

I just read one page at a time from my DNA book,

I am seed

I make Taylor series bridges,

I build the whole plant by reading

‘Height, slope, bend, wiggle…’

From just one spot, hidden in my DNA.

Friends

I am seed

I builds a tree the way Taylor series builds a curve —

All the instructions for the whole shape,

Are hidden in one small starting spot, like DNA. Of seed.

With this simple  procedure of building Taylor series

I  "seed"  build beautiful scenery of tree.

Liberal arts Writing

While teaching my undergraduate students in my college I published my research findings in national/international journals.I soon realised that theses findings can only be of use to experts in the field.

In other words, we as researchers have our limitations. We somehow must reach the masses and convey our research results. With this aim in mind, I started doing science arts writing and wrote the book "Science of Life and nature : photo poetry collection."Digital links to my book and my website, where I have loaded my poems, which I wrote to teach my respected students, are listed below.

I made educational digital collages to educate my students. It was a lot of fun conveying difficult Science results more simple way. I still write on my blog (Sukarma Musing) on blogspot.com. I also write blogs about science and teaching methods.

I aim to write for students in the form of liberal arts, where they get answers to questions like why, when, etc.Liberal arts writing refer to a multidisciplinary, critical approach to writing. Rather than focusing on technical or vocational instruction.I always emphasize analytical thinking, clear communication, and the art of constructing evidence-based arguments to explore the human experience in my writings.  This writing givs my students ways to face a difficult future and complex life.

Magic of silver

The chemical symbol for silver, Ag, comes from the Latin word for silver, argentum, which in turn derives from the Sanskrit word argunus, meaning to shine.

Being a reflective element, it can be useful in mirrors, telescopes, microscopes and solar cells.

The words 'silver' and 'money' are the same in fourteen languages or more.

Silver was one of the first five elements discovered, along with gold, copper, lead and iron.

Now a days Silver prizes are very high.

Reason for its being very costly is that silver metal is highly conducting in nature and is used in many electric devises.

To conclude  silver functions as both an industrial material and a precious metal,

Different Aroma of Leadership

Indian curry powder is used in making

Distinct exotic curries for different dishes,

I prepare this curry powder at home,

I grind roasted curry leaves,

 roasted garlic,

which has a bitter and nutty taste,

Split roasted black grams,

 Dietary fiber- roasted sesame seeds,

which are high in protein,

Vitamin B1 source of phosphorus,

 iron, magnesium, calcium, manganese,

copper and zinc

Roasted red whole chili,

Roasted cumin has a warm,

 Earthy flavor and aroma

with a bit of both sweetness and bitterness.

 Roasted peanut,

Roasted Ginger produces a warming and fiery peppery taste.

Compound Gingerol present in it

Creates a hot Sensation in it together,

While working with students in the lab,

I suddenly thought about curry powder wonders!!

Every spice present in it has a unique flavor, taste and aroma,

Some are tangy, zesty, sour or fruity, salty,

Few are bitter, hot, sweet or nutty!

Each spice has a special quality which give benefit to health.

Suddenly, from my subconscious mind, I got a ha! Moments in the lab,

Oh! I see that these spices are present in curry powder,

Students in my research science lab, too, are varied,

With distinct traits, some are calm, a few are always worried! Some courageous,

When they follow their goals with passion, they sometimes,

Get roasted ground and put to the test by different circumstances,

They emerge out to be gold the best!.

Like different spices present in curry powder, they have different aromas of leadership,

Scientific temperament, cooperation, hardworking capacity and entrepreneurship ability,

Spreading the aroma of their talent all around with their hard work and good management,

Filling joy, energy, pleasantness and happiness where they surround!

When these brilliant minds are just as different spices ground together, like in curry powder,

They emit a fragrance so exotic and discreet altogether,

Students who have talents rare and diverse, and scientific brains,

Worked in a science research lab when it merged as one,

For national and international goals,

To reduce the sufferings of humanity,

Build a beautiful, strong nation -Universe!!

These ah ha! Moments made me remember all my wonderful students,

I could not believe my photographic memory at this stage of my life,

These ah ha! Moments are my infinite gratitude

Towards my motherland, students and research lab,

They fill my heart with the highest spirit of serving my country.

Seven Important Years

The other day, I was traveling on the metro to go back home. I noticed one young lady was passing a smile to me.

I was able to recognize her a bit. I was sure she was one of our good old students. She came near to me and said,” Madam, I am Sushma”.I at once recognized my talented young girl, Sushma, full of energy. I asked, “Sushma, I am meeting you after 7 years, so how is life, my dear student?”

Sushma, in her typical old-style tone, said,” Madam.

1st year I thought it was understanding.

2nd year I thought it was adjustments.

In 3rd year I thought it was #Trust.

In the 4th year, I thought it was #communication.

In the 5th year, I thought it was #compromises.

In the 6th year, I thought it was  Gratitude .

7th year, I am sure it is #Patience.

Knowing Sushma, I could guess she is talking  something important and interesting.

I asked her what you are all talking dear student.

She said,” Madam, just make a wild guess who I am talking to you.”

I was so happy to see my student, who was teaching in a public school being so concrete and crispy  in her casual talk, and at the same time putting conversation in the form of a #riddle.

I told Susma the answer to the riddle is “marriage.”

Sushma said,” You are partly correct, madam.”

I asked Susma what the correct answer to riddle.

Sushma said the correct answer is” Key to successful happy marriage.”

I said Good Sushma you have put the experience of your married life

In seven beautiful lines.

Try to solve your own problems

My friend Sita and I were teaching in a private school. Sita got married, and her in-laws had a joint business. There were around ten people in a joint family. Initially, things were right with Sita. She was reasonably happy with the treatment she was getting at her in-laws' place.

As luck would have it, Sita's in-laws' family business started declining. Sita had to face a lot of problems from in in-laws' family. Whatever help Sita's Parents will give in terms of cash and kind, Sita's in-laws were not happy. Sita was finding it extremely difficult to face that odd situation.

I told Sita, Please accept the realities. If you realize it soon, it's the best. It's rare to find people who will help you out of a critical situation; rather, you will find people who gossip and laugh at your situation, and some will feel pity. Therefore, be bold, my dear friend  Sita and face the situation. Sita continued her dialogue with God in the form of morning prayer. This regular activity gave her strength.

God helped Sita in a difficult situation. She got a Government school teaching job at a higher post than her previous one. Her pay packet was much higher than the previous one. Sita was happy with this positive change in her life. After one year, she was blessed with a daughter. With a little child in the house, Sita's in-laws' family was also very happy. Sita was thankful to me as I advised her not to expect any help from anyone. God helps those who help themselves. Sita became indifferent and concentrated on her work of teaching. Soon she became popular among her students. That fame gave Sita so much courage and a peaceful mind that Sita became a different person altogether.

Moral of the story- Instead of feeling depressed and expecting help from outside people, isn't it better one just try to take one's responsibility and not hope for anyone's help and have solutions to one's problems with own hard work and courage.

Forest science and life

Science  of forest and water resources turning light into life.

In open field  in morning Sun light,
 Is harsh and direct,
Low humidity, low carbon dioxide exist ,
Air near ground is hot ,
That  often makes window stomata,
On leaves of trees,
 Partially shut,
Signature of slow photo synthesis,
 Is observed in plains .

In green  forest friend,
Morning breaks on  forest  shore,
Water sources rivers ponds flow.

With dappled light on the forest floor,
The biodiversity of trees get stir,
The giant and small trees wake and whisper ,
And the greatest nature,
Reaction photosynthesis,
 Takes place creating wonders.

 Timing wonderful has healthy forest,
Green Chlorophyll catches the sun's warm ray,
An engine of green forest  begins to play.
Water rushes from roots of trees, Present in soil in the dark,
Goes up through the tissues,
Xylem  and the tree bark.
With the high humid cool breeze, Carbon dioxide  floats ,
Through the open stomato of various tree leaves,
Faster and faster the forest breathes.

Sunlight interacts ,
With water and air,
Some part of sunlight,
 Refracts through surface  water,
Is used for photosynthesis ,
By palnts life inside water.

Sunlight from Sun and,
Sunlight reflected through sources water ,
Creats the magic that lingers and spreads,
Sweet glucose builds ,
The trunk and the seed,
Of tree fueling the energy in woods,
 At rate of lightning speed.
Rate of photosynthesis is fast
In forest.

When oxygen gets released,
From the stomata window of  leaves ,
This life saving  breath of forest,
Minimises  decay and death on planet.

Under the bough strees in forest,
 Where water resources flow ,
And the sunbeams run,
Humanity relaxes in presence of God.

Come and all,
Let us thank Sun,
And water resources,
For feasting green forest to us.

Let us thank forest,
For breathing out life,
So fresh, so clean, for planet.

Light and water sources of forest,
Makes ancient pact ,
of mutual life,
Which help mankind live with peace.
